Thanks @farmer.when I first saw the river, I couldn't understand why it was flowing in two different directions. Wasn't until I actually walked it did I realise what was happening. Of course, it soon turns back to the South again, through Salisbury.

Thanks for another enjoyable trip down Memory Lane - West Amesbury is lovely. A lot of history in Amesbury itself, but of course it will always come second to Stonehenge! Not sure how many local folk still around who can remember the annual hippy invasion ahead of the Stonehenge Festivals? Happy days but seem so long ago now!

That was a beautiful walk Lionel, quite a bit of snow around too. I suspect that breeze was a bit sharp. Well worth an airing. Ron

Thanks Ron. I think it was a little unexpected and you could see how the sun was beginning to thaw it off the trees. Thanks for commenting.

That was the old bus station in Amesbury. No longer there, now a car park. Most of that Salisbury bus company's terminals are now on drafty streets. I think Poole still has a recognised bus station, but that's the only one.

Filmed in 2010 at Amesbury, in Wiltshire after a sudden snowfall.
