The part left out was what the Lord said through Jeremiah, during the Babylonian war; that the Jewish people must be right in worship and obedience. The Jews claimed Jerusalem as holy land because of the temple. What people forget is that the Lord can be worshiped anywhere, he does not limit us in that right, but you must also be obedient to his word. And what he said to the Jewish people, through Jeremiah, was to leave the land. Read Jeremiah chapter 7.

@@suziekhor2096 There were many Melchizedeks, it was a title of the kings of Salem historically, just like 'pharaoh' or "Abimelech were titles. However, unlike Pharoah, only 1 of the Abimelechs was culturally significant, the one that met Abraham. I believe just like Solomon, that Melchizedek is symbolically significant as a representation of Christ, but it does not mean he was Jesus. The kings of Salem were real breathing human beings, not spirits from heaven.

The narrative wasn't bad. However u left out many important facts. U didn't mention Herods expansion and refurbishment of the 2nd temple to even be grander then the first. U also neglected to mention the last Jewish revolt culminating in 135 ce and Hadrian wanting to erase any Jewish association with the land. Except that jews still were present in the land including Jerusalem. Also it is not known what is meant by the "furthest mosque" and many scholars say it isn't in Jerusalem. Plus the Palestine mandate was to include what became transjordan to become a Jewish and Arab state until church took 80% of the mandate and gave it to the hashemites. There is so much more but there are apparent time constraints. Otherwise decent overall presentation.
