From Arma 3 to Arma Reforger: Milsim Comparison

After playing Arma 3 for 4000 hours +, I made the switch. Playing with nice graphics and more than 15 fps, just that alone made me switch. I personally find Reforger more immersive than Arma 3. Was searching for a good Milsim team and also found Shadow Division. I joined them and I'm not disappointed. Good video!

@@Lash_HQ the games mechanics inherently make to be played arcade. I can go slow all I want but people are just running around everywhere. I am punished for playing realistically while people run full speed up hills

They're gonna stop supporting arms reforger after this year. No more updates and i believe they we stop mod support to. They only said they were not going to support it after this year cause it's basically a unmarked beta that costed 40 dollars. Wish it'd guarantee a copy of arma 4 with it or it would pull a overwatch and update the game and next thing you know. You got overwatch 2 (arma 4 in this case ^)

I have been watching this channel for a while, hope to seee more videos on Reforger as with the engine updated and the other aspects being constantly tweaked, getting ARMA'd will become less frequent and the immersion will be greater. Untill the abrams starts singing coppyrighted music about belief in it's flight capabilities. Also got first comment and at this point, 62 views in 33 mins.

Havent tried Reforger yet however by looking at the footage it seems Bohemia need to work more on optimization cause those fps drops hurts for a modern game

Playing in Arma reforger first and Arma 3 I think the biggest differences are gun play and scale. Arma reforger is strictly stable at the platoon level with superior infantry game play. Meanwhile Arma 3 is the superior at scale. The Use of assets is pre integrated into the base code of the game so company to battalion level operations are achievable. In summary: Arma 3 is superior at showing the comprehensive nature of combat while Arma reforger finally gives the fun factor for infantry

Arma Reforger is certainly catching up in features. Now we have driving ai etc, its really shaping up. I hope we see more JSOC-like PVE servers and liberation etc

i personally find value in performance and pvp, i didnt play a whole lot of arma 3, the modding and settup was way too much for what i wanted out of a game, so i spent most of my time playing squad, but i decided to get reforger and in terms of pvp, i think its the perfect experience, idk about the the pve and ops and stuff, that isnt much of my side, but for what i want out of a gaming experience, reforger delivers it to me perfectly

Reforger is everythning I wanted next Arma to be - focused on technical advancements rather than content. You can always get content later if you have base strong enough. Base game is incredible.

idk if its just me but I hate ppl who play reforger modded version, when they first play like how can you play a game without experinecing vanilla first. Like I dont have a problem with ppl playing modded version but when its your first time playing then yeah. I dont wanna sound like that guy but I cannot tell you how many times ppl asked on how to play the game while they play some modded server and I always ask them not to play modded versions yet until they figure out on how the game works. (idk how this comment got sooooooooooooo long but I hope somone found use for it).
