This song still gives me goosebumps. Just so amazing. I miss this era of music so much.

🤣 I just tried to do the same I'm like THIS is how I got through how ur feeling RN lol my dad tried to show me classic rock I was like Dad the 00s brought problems music from the 70s just can't quite hit right on 😂 it's like this was the last great era I had to make myself quit listening to it cuz I got way too depressed back in the day lol so I started listening to nothing but uplifting trance music lol aka EDM now

The lead singer with all the fans just having fun and being cool on state is unreal. What a cool thing to catch on tape. I’ve never seen him smile, he’s smiling in every scene of that. Drummer is a fuckin savage too, goosebumps city

This is the type of song whose lyrics can be written only once in a lifetime. I know this will keep helping me through the painful moments during my existence. I’m in love witj the mood you were into when you were writing this, whoever you are, whoever was the creature that inspired you. “And for this, I cherish you..”

So funny, I had this same video from limewire around 2005-2006 and I had to download it at a friend’s house because I didn’t have internet. That said, a lack of internet meant I was CONSTANTLY watching this video lol this and a few others (Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste from Norma Jean, I’m Not Okay from MCR, few Atreyu songs to name some)

Not the same without Melanie Wills signing the second half of the song. She was really cute but more importantly a great singer. I loved her band One True Thing.

I love her in the album version but personally I always preferred this live version of the song with the drummer doing cleans. Perhaps because it’s the first version I heard, having no internet access in 2006 but having this video on my computer lol watched it all the time

Honestly this was my favorite band to see live. Always great guys and would spend honestly an hour or more just talking to fans after shows. I know one show in Pittsburgh me and a friend just kept talking and talking to Ben and Fran.

Everyone had experience something tragic or fucked up. Not the best live version but the album version is much better, here I can feel the vocal strain since doing a tour screaming/growling for a long time is draining and if you out pressure on your throat too much you're going to fry your vocal chords (worse losing your voice in the process) therefore they sound tired.
@joeh8583 жыл бұрын
t's because he has wrong technique. If you scream properly you don't damage your vocals. But this wasn't common knowledge back then.
