I have learned never to believe a one sided story no matter what. I sympathize with Ay. The humility to still be referring to Basket as Oga is definitely commendable. Also his efforts in trying to make things right between himself and Basket is also phenomenal. That said, I'd hold my horses until we hear from Basket or they both apper on Chude together.

I've watched Basketmouth's interviews and I always got the sense that he was a person who took himself seriously. Even in one Pulse interview he and the wife did, I couldn't shake off the fact that he came off as someone who had a strong, arrogant mind. The people saying AY betrayed Basketmouth, y'all are funny. You guys are the type of people that will owe people. If Basket felt he was in the right, why lie about the client not having paid? That was shady equally. Why didn't you just come up straight and say I'm not paying you for so so. It's because you were trying to be slimy yourself and yet you're angry you got caught. What Basket wanted was for AY to deal with the no-payment and move on. He was angry that AY was stubborn enough to insist on his money. Let me tell you guys what's still hurting Basket? It's not what AY did. It's the fact that AY became too succesful, and commercially more relevant than he could manage. Of course, Basket mouth is funnier as a stand-up, but AY is a well-rounded entertainer and has achieved more critical acclaim globally. Bright is a human being, and humans deal with envy on a normal level. I know that festering envy is what is making it difficult for Basketmouth to heal because if you watch his interview with Ebuka last year on this issue, he really had nothing to say. He was just helplessly vague & couldn't communicate the substance of his vex, for someone who talks well normally. It's because his real cause of anger is illegitimate. Let him keep his anger. That's probably what fated his home too.
@strik78er Жыл бұрын
The fact that you had enough time to analyze what the principal actors (AY and Basket) said shows me that you, at the very least, respect their craft. And I must admit that I agree with your analysis. Basket, while speaking with Ebuka about his beef with AY, was very vague indeed. He did however admit that they had squashed the beef but they wouldn’t necessarily call each other friends. If indeed he said what AY claims he said, about being a non-forgiving beast, then to hell with basketmouth! The operative word being “IF.” In a nutshell, my guy, I applaud your analysis. Shalom!

Practically, I think Basket Mouth has no evil intentions against AY. His action is just born out of principle, which I can relate to. Never betray your master. AY, at that time, sees himself as a hustler who is willing to do anything to survive, even to the detriment of stabbing his master behind the back. AY should be grateful that Basketmouth opened up to him. If it were other people, they would be pretending until they could get back at their traitor. Wishing both of them good luck
