Great show as always I posted something in one of my FB groups regarding our bloated cabinet. Here's an updated version We now have 75 people in the Cabinet - 32 Ministers and 43 Deputy Ministers. This is madness. The Cabinet could and should be reduced to the core functions so Finance Defence Infrastructure Home Affairs International Relations Justice All other ministries done away with or devolved to provincial level.

I support everything Rob says except one single point: Food and drug approvals are absolutely necessary to be done meticulously. And this takes time. And despite that, we'll still manage to get it wrong. Take margarine as an example: this was approved in 1967 and yet, transfats turned out to be an unmitigated health disaster. The law was updated only in 2018, after causing hundreds of thousands or possibly millions of premature deaths, and still the law was updated only after Fred Kummerow took the FDA to court and forced the change. By that time the scientific evidence was known for decades.

It seems incongruous to me that the Bitcoin value is only defined by US$ which is exactly the fiat currency it is supposed to replace! So it has no intrinsic value, only some relative value against something else with no intrinsic value. What am I missing..?

you missing nothing. It is valuable because people want it. There is a demand for it. Simple as that. It is not replacing USD it is merely a store of value that can be converted into USD. Same as gold. It can therefore fall as quickly as it has risen if demand falls away or the whales out there decide to take profit and dump it on the market.

It's called urban bias. Very little is done to reduce the transaction costs of rural entrepreneurs by big business (because they're based in urban centres where transaction costs are neglible).

I've known about Bitcoin for nearing a decade but I still don't see any value in it. It is a fiat currency that isn't even imposed upon us by the state. Gold has always held value because of its beauty and many other aspects. Bitcoin is no longer even an agoristic, free-market capitalistic, voluntaryist, private currency -at least Monero is. I'm a Silberstein Mann. Monero is incomparably better than Bitcoin.

Can someone educate me on tax money (A simple explanation as to how it gets spent). According to my knowledge, the tax money is collected by the National treasury and sent back to the reserve to buy back the bonds the Reserve holds... So - if you buy a share you give money to the board to deploy further ie its goes back to produce more profit (hopefully) - deploy in system. You give to the bank - they use to loan out to deploy more in economy. You buy a bond - you borrow to corporates/state to deploy in economy. You buy BTC - it does not get deployed….ie you take money out of circulation that does not get deployed…why?
