Another great ideas, especially for those renting. A little FYI... if you have trouble removing or sticky residue after removing, spray WD-40 (stuff you use to stop squeaky doors). It removes ANY sticky residue on hard surfaces. I use when removing labels and sticky stuff slides right off!

Thank you! You don't know how useful this information is . I had this mat in my parents bathroom and the rubber bottom got stuck to the floor and I haven't been able to get it off. It looks terrible ! Anyways , I probably should have tried scraping it off , but I don't have that kind of patience . I'm going to try your way and some scraping . It should make it easier . Thanks again :D .

I did this for my daughters bathroom and guest bathroom counter top. I love it. Was a pain in the ass to do the corners but since the marble tricks the eyes, you can't really tell unless you look really up close. Good job!

I've been upgrading my vanity sink area with a ton of trial and error. I've scoured KZbin for a video that shows the sink and corner details because that's where I'm having the most trouble for days. Your sink is almost exactly like mine and the way you laid out where you put your paper makes it so much easier! I've got a new roll coming tomorrow and I'm going to start from scratch and do it your way. I'm so grateful that you shared this video! Thank you thank you! 💕
@Beautywithty16 жыл бұрын
Aw glad I could help! And yes it’s harder with a sink like this but I just kept cutting pieces to cover the areas left after laying out a large part. But it’s marble so you can tell where it start and stops! Best part! 💕

This is the best how to do the faux marble Ive seen you rg camera angle was nice and close and you showing us how to overlap. I thought thatvwould be bumpy. I h as ve seen b.v another one we'd here she took the papercto the edge of the sink I think youd like that look better. Also an ex as cto knife was used I used it in art school to cut tiny newspaper adds edges, mitering it gives you a lot of precision.I want to dovthis but I think the kitchens beige counters get too much wear and the beige stove blends best w whats there.
