It’s Necessary to Follow the Path It’s no use remembering God only when we are inside the church. To live in His way and receive all His glories, blessings, and miracles, it takes devotion, it takes surrender, it takes acting according to all His will and delighting completely in the presence of the Lord. I praise and fear God, but I keep reading and hearing these so called “seasons” and “valleys” and negative situations are just stepping stones. But I’m 39 years old and my entire life has been a valley. There comes a point and time when someone can’t take it anymore. I can’t help but turn the other way whenever I hear a preacher talking about “seasons” and yada yada yada. Then I recall Moses wasn’t called upon until he was 80 years old. Meaning, it’s fair game to suffer for 80 years before you are called upon. Well, that’s very reassuring. Then I recall that what most Christians consider the most depressing book (Job), I recall that Job started off blessed and ended up blessed. He went through a bad season. Well, I’m worse than the most depressing book because I’m 40 years old and my entire life has been a valley. I still praise and fear God and spread the Gospel and pray because I surely don’t have anyone else to turn to, but I’m not in a good place personally. This doubt that all this doesn’t apply to me keeps growing inside me if I’m being completely honest. But I spread the gospel and help others every chance I get.

Hey speak the word into your situation brother. It definitely applys to you or it could. Lets look at Romans 8:28 “ And we know that God causes all things to work together for good, to those that love god,to those called according to His purpose. And then we got 1 John 5:3 “ For this is the love of God,that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.” And John 14:15 “ If you love Me you will keep My commandments.” If you’re trying to do his commands ( love God) then you know it does.

I totally disagree that God has to used bad things to help you grow. God doesn't create accident, if so wouldn't that make God the person who steal, kill, and destroys? It sounds like a contradiction.
