From Brokenness to Restoration Part 1 | The Mind Blowing Noble Marriage Story

We were interviewed by Pure Victory Podcast, Braden Hafner and Matt Cline, who are also my (Travis) accountability partners in life.
I (Travis) share how Porn and sexual abuse had an impact on me and created a life of secrets and hiding. This followed me through my life and had destructive impact like a ripple effect on all those close to me and around me.
Secrets of my life made me sick. My body started shutting down and I had a lot of medical hardships and disabilities in my body and multiple addictions of alcohol, prescription opiates and shopping that had control over me.
I was so broken down and had given up on life.
I ended up finding Jesus and who He is as my LORD and personal savior. Instead of me having the belief and faith of my parents. It became personal. I was transformed!
Adelle has discovery and later disclosure over me (Travis) being unfaithful and how we walked through that pain and how God showed up and restored and renewed our marriage to be even stronger and more powerful for Him.
Adelle was able to fully forgive me (Travis) after being counseled by Dr. Gary Chapman, the best selling author of The Five Love Languages. After he responded to Adelle's comment of "I'll never feel like forgiving him". Dr. Gary Chapman confirmed this and said if she waits on the feeling it may never come. Forgiveness is a choice, and the feelings will follow.
This was so freeing for Adelle and set her on a path to forgiveness and healing.
We also talk about the importance of full disclosure over the spouse needing to investigate with discovery.

Thanks for sharing this! Yes, there is hope. Even when it seems hopeless. God can work all things out for good. Romans 8:28 . I just love Gods stories. God can and will use your story to help others as well. It helps with the healing process, when you are ready. Good message, infidelity in our marriage. So much betrayal hurt and pain, God helped me to forgive him and took the pain away. My husband is still struggling with infidelity but he's in God's hands and i am still able to forgive and press on with God. I have my moments but i take every thought captive, i am more concerned about my husband's salvation. When he surrenders to God he will send him home.

What do you do when your spouse is in adultery and everybody you know has the same unhealthy values it's like the norm and the culture to have multiple women and then you have your main wife it's a sick mindset but with all the music and all the TV shows everything reflecting the same beliefs the bondage runs so deep. .

And things like TV and music are part of satans tools. It’s sad.
