Ya'll I need prayer for Aj and I. We seem stuck in a communication break down, seeing the other as the villain and ourselves as victims. It never seems to end and it has gotten so bad where we can't even talk! We have a hard past but have been working hard to move forward. It seems we keep tripping on the devils tripwire and I donot know how to get past these road blocks. It seems like all we do is trigger eachother. I want it to work. It has been 13 years together. She seems so stuck inpointing the finger and me and my past sin and the hurt it has caused her; so much so that when she hurts me, she almost mever apologizes and just brings back things I have done wrong. I try very hard to be calm and understanding, trying everything to communicate, listen, be respectful and graceful. I try to forgive first even if she hurts me and does not apologize. I do not know what to do anymore. Brothers and sisters, I need prayer. I feel so burnt from all of this and I know she does too. I am so misunderstood and judged almost daily, basically looking into a mirror of my past every day. I have repented and been cleansed but she cannot seem to forgive me. I feel I am starting to resent the brick wall she has constructed around herself. Many times she will just plug her ears and scream her point at me. How do I connect with that?/ I feel hopeless, yet I know God can do the impossible. Brothers and sisters, I beg, please intercede for us, and any advice or help would be soso appreciated. Thank you. ❤

Me and my ex fiancé split up but, God told me he’s my husband. We were together for 2 years and 3 months and this testimony is so close to what’s happening. I believe we’re going to be okay. Emily Martin- Wow! I see so much of myself and my husband in this story. Caroline, I was also raised in a house that yelled, and my husband was raised in a quiet house. We have had to put a lot of attention and effort into our communication styles. We have balanced each other out nicely, but we aren't perfect. Our marriage is absolutely stronger because of Jesus and trudging through the struggle. Thank God for that and for your marriage as well!

My marriage was very similar to yours. My wife had a similar background, but our cracks started on Day 1. I think that I was a good husband (but def not perfect!!!) for awhile, but eventually just went into survival mode. I stopped trying to lead and stopped giving affection (when someone pulls away from a handhold or a gentle shoulder touch, you pretty much stop doing it so often, even unconsciously). Eventually we became just roommates who said mean things once in a while and she left me. Even before she left, God was revealing to me the areas I was lacking as a husband. He was slowly removing the blinders and the fog that I was in to help me grow and change. Now I'm all in and getting closer to God. He has opened my eyes so much and I wish she would see/believe the changes are authentic. She recently said that she wants a divorce, probably at the end of this month, but I am keeping my eyes on God rather than the wind and waves. I've seen how great we can be and know her worth and value and want to fight for us. I am learning to patiently trust God and praise him before the victory comes. "Coincidentally", at church, they have been talking about patience, expectantly waiting on God, and praising him for the victory ahead of time.

@@starluzenja9861 Thank you so much for checking up. She moved all of her things out this past weekend and gave me the key back. She said she will be filing this week. I talked to her on the phone the other day and she is upset with me even for not giving up. I wasn't rude or mean or anything, but she takes it that I'm not listening to her. No, I'm just trusting God and not giving up. Despite her solid core of stone surrounding her heart, God can still break through it. If He doesn't then I need to recognize and trust His sovereignty and know that whatever happens, Victory will happen and it will be for the best.

I gave it totally over to God and have gotten angry with her at one point (it was justifiable), but other than that have kept showing love to her over the past 9.5 weeks. I'm still working on trusting God because I know in my head that he's got this, but still fear in my heart sometimes. It's also painful, so it's hard.

@@starluzenja9861 So far I'm still in limbo. It's been 13.5 weeks now since she left and she has removed everything of hers from the apartment. She said about 4 weeks ago that she was going to get the papers within the week but didn't. Then on the phone a week and a half ago, she said that she said that she got the papers and was working on them. I'm just trusting God and learning to follow and put my foundation in Him rather than anything else, even what my wife says, for good or bad.

Will you please pray for me ? I've been through alot of hardship and struggle past 3 years. I gave an interview for a job at a good company in November 2022. The manager said i would hear back from her around end of November, I did get a response on November 30th that they were on hire freeze and that she will recontact me in January 2023 if I'm still interested, i immediately responded her that YES I AM STILL VERY MUCH INTERESTED. Meanwhile The LORD divinely blessed me with a new apartment that i have been on waitlist for, i Praise The Lord Jesus. Now it's January 2023, I'm truly believing that Jesus is giving me this new job, it's a good company with a good pay, that will help me pay my rent and bills and groceries during this time of inflation. I have no one else to support me but GOD. Will you please pray that The Lord Jesus will have grace and compassion on me and will bless me with this job ? While I'm continuing to stand for the reconciliation, restoration and renewal of my marriage with my husband. I would also appreciate your prayers for the restoration of my marriage. Women are wired to not respect “nice guys.” Practically every time they take kindness for weakness. He was probably doing nothing wrong and she became an abusive tyrant on a mission to destroy him with no remorse. When he finally stood up and threatened to divorce her, she finally realized he had the guts to walk away from her abuse. Men have to always let a woman know she can be replaced for disrespectful bad behavior. I know it sounds “harsh” but they have to know there’s a line they better not cross. Like my father who was married over 50 years told me, “if you let a woman get away with a yard of disrespect, she’ll run the whole football field.”

Sister Caroline I grew in the church my father was very very tough hard on me and my mom I was abuse mental emotional physical by someone I loved look up to. That’s exactly what I was shocked over. I noticed he was quite content to have her place all the blame on herself. Obviously she was wrong for what she was doing but since he grew up in a “peaceful home” then he should have been an expert in communicating. So why didn’t he sit her down and try and figure out what was bothering her? I’m just sitting here thinking so you didn’t do ANYTHING wrong? You were just the perfect husband? I mean the fact that you said you sat down and told her you hated her was wrong right there.

Please pray that my partner Jamie, of 14 years, comes back home to me and our 3 boys. Please pray this other woman (Dee) from his work, he is seeing is removed from his life and finds her best as he is not her best and she is not his best. We are his best. Remove that seductive spirit in Jesus' name. Pray she is transferred to a different fire station in a different city. God meant for families to stay together. The devil wants to destroy them, but I won't allow this for my family. Please pray that every time he goes to see her or when he is about to sin, that God stands in his way. Please pray he quits smoking. Pray he finds Jesus, salvation, forgiveness, and repents for hurting his family. Please pray for restoration, peace, and healing in my family. Pray my son's renew their faith again, and their hearts heal. Pray Jamie steps up to be the father they deserve. Please pray that Jamie sees me with renewed eyes from now on and finds love for me again. I am struggling with this battle as it seems to be getting worse. I pray my faith stays steadfast. Our son came to us in February of 2022 asking us to take the girl he lived with loved for 7 years, and has 3 kids with into our home because DSS was going to take our grandkids that day because when this girl gave birth to the new baby drugs were in this girl and newborn baby so my husband signed paperwork with DSS saying he would be responsible and soon as DSS gave the OK they were to return home with our son, but 4 months later my husband of 30 years and this girl informed me she was not leaving, but I was because they wanted to be together so this girl Thanked me her kids grandmother by destroying my marriage, making me homeless having to live in my car from July of 2022 to July of 2023 ,but I'm living in a camper right now so at least I'm not still in my car .I think God has something beautiful for me I'm praying and waiting it's been over a year now, but I know God knows the evil and hurt my husband and this girl has caused me, and I know they will answer to God for committing adultery against our marriage. It hurts knowing my grandkids are living in the same house being exposed to their papa and mom committing adultery against their grandparents marriage. Please pray for me.
