Great video this deserves more views, massive respect for your decisions to go legit and your honesty about why you started cheating, Tarkov is a particularly frustrating game, especially when you know there's a chance you were killed by other players who were cheating, but it's honestly worth it to know everything you achieved you earned yourself.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm trying to do my best to redeem myself from my past :) Cheating in Tarkov and other extraction looters differs from cheating in other games because loot is involved. Players often fear losing their gear and loot, which ironically becomes worthless for the cheater. Another important factor is the perceived number of cheaters in Tarkov. Although there are fewer cheaters in EFT compared to games like CS2, many players still believe they always die to cheaters. In reality, these deaths are often due to a skill gap. Dying in Tarkov is easy, you can get headshot from nearly anywhere, at any time... Just take a look at how NoGenerals plays the game, people would instantly call cheats on him, when he's just better! Before starting to cheat, some players assume they always die to cheaters and think that by cheating, they are just leveling the playing field. They fail to consider whether their deaths or poor gameplay were due to bad peeks, poor game sense, or avoidable mistakes. There is always room for improvement, but achieving it requires players to take accountability for their actions and be willing to understand and learn from their mistakes.

I have some 5k hours in tarkov, and i would say im a pretty decent player, i've died to cheaters, didnt care much, the once i remember the most is where i killed the guy i knew was cheating, some of those moments are stuck with me for good. I feel alot of cheaters arent very good at the game, like they are missing some knowledge or like some intuition that only comes from playing legit. You're journey is gonna be rough and it will bring some sad days and great days. I hope you stick with it man. I will sub and watch you in the new wipe . ps. I know the community is screaming everyone is cheating, but let me assure you out of my maybe 2k raids last wipe i died to maybe 40-50 SUS people. not 100% cheaters, but people i found was suspicious . so maybe only half of them where actually cheaters. So dont let it bring you back down when you feel like everyone is cheating, alot of people are just really really good at the game. much love and good luck with the wipe

Ofc i notice the wallers, sometimes anyway, i have 73% surv rate, and its just not as much as you think it is, half the population of tarkov is rats, so imagine you think half the population is cheating because they sit in spots and wait(thats just what they do). And they ofcause sit in perfect spots because they have done it 1000 times. They know where we walk, i know where people will go sometimes just by hearing their gun fire twice or three times in different spots, i kinda know where they are moving towards or what exit they have. 3. im not saying there is no cheaters, but its just not as big of a problem as the below 1500hours people think it is. I learn new things every wipe still, im still on the learning curve, its so huge, and it feels so shit to die, that i feel like the "noobs" of tarkov just assumes its cheats because "how can i die to a dude when i have 1000 hours and think im a god" Its a tough game. 4. i dont assume anything, im very good at this point at knowing when people are sus atleast, like i said having info they shouldnt have or like prefireing things they should be prefiring, whatever it may be. It will be a hard one indeed. Fortunately I've learnt some things along the way, I hope those will come in handy. Let's take things as they are, I feel sorry for my actions regardless of who the victim could have been. Let's also say that I might have ruined people a raid, that's about it. It's not like I kept encountering the same people over and over. So yeah, there's that to be considered. As I said to other comments, the past cannot be changed, but should not be forgotten in order to bring good to the world.

What is the point of using cheats in online games? Aside from imaginary internet bragging points I don't see what one stands to gain. I can understand cheating in a single player campaign to be able to finish a story, and the only person getting cheated is yourself.
@QuantumTac
@QuantumTac Ай бұрын
As you are pointing out, there is no gain. There are many reasons why one may cheat, but not a single one leads to gaining anything. Matter of fact there's only to lose by doing that...
@hazel-vf7on

People usually cheat for an artificial sense of confidence. You don't necessarily gain happiness or skill or anything of that sort, however you do gain a sense of unnatural confidence because you suddenly have the upper hand and can take on the game in ways you couldn't legitimately. As someone who cheated in their teens and then stopped entirely due to personal realizations (singleplayer is completely fine, you only spoil it for yourself), there is lot of psychological nature in what makes someone cheat, and what makes someone continue to do so. It's never black and white.

I'm going to be honest because it's only fair. Cheaters do deserve to be demonized for several reasons! They know they're doing "wrong" and spend a lot of time/money in an attempt to deceive everyone except those in on it. They steal legit players time and have no issue projecting their own shortcomings onto people that don't deserve it. Of course legit players and friends feel betrayed by your actions and have every right to feel disgusted, distrustful and possibly decide to never associate again. I've heard cheaters talking in Discord, stream sniping, sending hoards in raids while they giggle....truly pathetic behavior that they really get off on. The only "upside" to cheating is selfishly crowning yourself "King" while deep down knowing they have far more serious social issues. Cheaters betray themselves, friends, family, the developers and the entire gaming community. Honestly it's already getting old enough that some legit players are leaving online gaming entirely and are tired of listening or caring. Well done boys. But kudos to you for trying to circle the wagons to gather enough gumption in facing reality, but only you are responsible for your situation. I do genuinely wish you success in your journey though.

Not happy that you cheated obviously, but have to respect the decision to go legit, and not try to justify your past cheating with some bs... You cheated but you want to be better going forward, so it's hard to get mad at that even though cheaters enrage me to no end... This is the way you open up about questionable things... don't try to make everyone understand why, no one cares why, just own it and move forward in a better light and people will embrace that a lot easier than if you're trying to justify your past actions or shift blame. We all make mistakes but those who refuse to admit they've made a mistake will just get dog piled on if you try to justify it.

@QuantumTac
@QuantumTac 3 ай бұрын
@@tzav This is an interesting question, even though the answer is quite simple. Since there will always be cheaters in online videogames, the only rational way to enjoy playing is actually to just get over it. If I die to a cheater, I simply report them and move on. As you pointed out, and you are correct, many start cheating because they feel overwhelmed with the learning curve Tarkov has, which leads them to think they constantly die to cheaters, or the frustration of being skill gapped takes over. There is so much to learn and content creators (nothing against that) focus more on the successes, than the failures Tarkov brings. This takes many in a sense of discouragement and disappointment in their own gameplay, which could make some to choosing cheating as their way out of that, helping them “achieve” their goals. Unfortunately a minuscule amount of cheaters eventually realize that those achievements are just hollow and they just wasted time they could have spent learning the game and work on their improvement. About dying to better players, well, the only way is to become better than them, analyzing VODs and identifying what could have been done to prevent the losing outcome. I hope this answers your question. :)

I see what you're trying to do, but to be completely blunt, after ruining other players experiences for many years I am not of the opinion you should be allowed to play any multiplayer game. Biggest reason being you are still protecting the cheating community that you came from, which is still showing support and acceptance of their actions. You didn't stop cheating because you felt bad about hurting players experiences, you stopped 'allegedly' because your friends did not want to associate with you after learning you were an awful person. I know this is a harsh comment, but their really is no place for players like yourself in gaming.

 @grimhydraulix556 I did not name the company not to advertise them. That's what happened with the Summit1g video I was referring to. Since they are not out of business, like DamnCheaters is, I simply didn't to avoid giving them more traffic than they already have. I feel you, that's why I'm not simply apologizing like nothing ever happened. I have plans for some projects to help other cheaters to stop, but that's going to take time and resources. Fair, but I believe having a cheater less and one more legit player is just a win-win scenario. I cannot change the past but I can with the future. Yes, I ruined the experience for many, but I did not deprive them from playing the game. This, however, does not take away what I did and my responsibilities. I could not agree more with you on the latter, that's why I can't wait to play the upcoming wipe and show that cheating is pointless and people can have fun by playing legit. Believe me, taking my story public was not easy. My friends would have still played the wipe with me, and doing this project will also take away some time I could spend with them, dedicating myself to this. Still, as I said to another comment, I want to make things right and hopefully inspire others to stop. In the meantime, I thank you for having a constructive discussion on the matter.

Once a cheater always a cheater, right? What about drug abusers? Or alcoholics? People can and do change. The journey isn't easy, and falling back into ones old ways does happen. But the journey is the important part, getting to a good place is what the goal should be for the drug abuser, the alcoholic. Why should it be any different for the person that cheats but wants to go legit? Their journey to doing what's right probably isn't easy either. But at least Quantum appears to be sincere in wanting to play legit and to do the right thing. Time will tell.

300buxx for a p2w or even p2play is an absurd experience. Theyre literaly harping on you guys - while you shill out insane amounts of money for a game that costs 30 40bux... This shht wooorse than fentanyl. Youre staying alive so you can go back to work and bring in even more dollaz. Wow And not only rhe game comunity hates you for being a cheater, now you also hate yourself bc you probs spent a small sportscar on those games and cheats. Does it feel good? Do you feel more acomplished in life collecting badges for a 12 yr old game no one will see and no one will care for it. Yet ypu spent daaays grinding - while your life passes. And let me remind you, you only have one. Stop spending ypur time to make other people money. Spend it so that you make more than them. That way you actually win in this effed up economy for once. Edit: its not a personal critic , i dont know you. Its more of a sidenote to all cheaters out there.

I can honestly say that i don`t believe a single word. you stopped cheating for one reason and one reason only legit players don't like playing with cheaters. you said nothing about spoiling the game for other people that play the game the correct way. i believe you may try playing the game the way its meant to be played but when you realize just how hard it can be to play the legit way you will not hesitate to jump straight back to cheating only this time you wont say anything to your friends about it as you know they will not play with you if they find out your doing it again. @@icemanrecon9447 The leading reason for me to stop cheating was indeed my friends. As I said in response to another comment, I do feel sorry for ruining others experience with the game. Unfortunately I cannot change the actions I made. The recording and editing of this video has been done in a couple hours, some parts could have had a deeper explanation and wording. That being said, taking this public has not been an easy choice, and I could have not done it if I was not 100% sure I will not cheat again. What would be the point in this? You are part of the people who think that once a cheater, always a cheater. I’ll be glad to prove you wrong. My goals stand firm.

@QuantumTac I can't believe you. . Yarkov is too hard for a cheater to not cheat. Thus is why I made the smart choice to never cheat because the Gane would no longer be fun. You see a perspective you should have to experience the game alot . I can't believe you won't turn on your " undetectable " cheats when the going gets REALLY rough and you know deep down inside you're wasting your time looking for that quest item. Because you cheated your brain will say " just turn on the hacks real fast fkr thus one kappa item" It's like , once you've learned to turn on the switch g people can't believe you won't just toggle on
