"There is no ethical consumption under capitalism" is a good reminder to be aware of the sources of our products, but also recognize there will be faults and rights violations related to or directly part of any product, and the best we can do as consumers in a system not controlled by us is to be curious, caring, thoughtful, and intentional.❤

I’ve only used one pattern off of Mood, and it was a hot mess. I’m always so worried for you when you try new ones, but everything always turns out so cute!

Would you be open to doing a mini shirring tutorial. I just feel so daunted by the idea.

Never apologize for more shirring it’s the cheat code nobody knew they needed! 😆 I really love this one on you the blue suits you so well! I also could easily have a video of your cooking on in the bg all by itself it’s so cozy and it made me flipping this thrifted dress I’ve been putting off into a cuter version of itself feel like less of a hassle. The calm of the bake soooooothes 😂

2:13 87 pieces of paper and a whole roll of tape later… 😂 I think the next time I use the PDF powder and I'm gonna actually send it to Staples or Office Depot or one of those and see what it's like to get it printed off the big sheets. I wonder what the price comparison is by the time we use paper and tape and time .

This is super cute! Now you have me wanting to check for cosco sheets lol. Makes sense, but too bad it was polyester. Still nice and airy with the open back! I've debated on the balletcore style bow backs too! Excited to see that! The fit issues might also relate to some contouring adjustments, which are often needed when you lower a neckline. Contouring darts at the adjusted neckline (to compensate for gaping from the change) can be rotated out to other darts on the pattern.

Thank you! & omg i didn't event THINK about the fit issues related to lowering the neckline, great thought!

@@maybebre There are a lot of parts to adjustments lol. There could also be a lot of ease? Anyway, I like how this creator explains contouring, if you're interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKXPpKZ9oJmckNEsi=2ywH0Ok-3nYDvNWf

What pattern did you use off of mood?
@maybebre7 ай бұрын
it's called the "Opal Dress" & as of right now i think it's the first dress in the "dress" pattern section. Hope that helps!

Anything natural is good anything synthetic is bad recycled or not. The sheets are good just make sure you wear the outfit until it becomes a worn out mess. hahaha jk You make what you can with what you can afford in my book.

Can you really call it a dupe if it looks better than the original 🤔 Shirring for the win always!
