Hi Faruk, I worked there before when it was still called The Westin Philippine Plaza hotel, then the name was changed to Sofitel. That time, year 2000, that hotel was okay then. In that hotel where the very famous singing group Westlife stayed during their high moments and that is the place in which James Taylor did a concert. They converted the 3 rooms Luzon Visayas Mindanao huge rooms into one. I was both assigned in that Spiral Buffet where a very fancy restaurant Alfiere was there, huge buffets and also in the Treasure island outside near the pools in which during night time there were seafoods and meat buffet and there are programs local dancing to the tune of the traditional folk songs. That was one best experience of my life. Thank you for showing us the Sofitel, close for now hope they will re-develop this hotel into a modern futuristic one.
