Great video, Peter! Really inspiring how Dr. Jason Leong managed to transition from being a doctor to a successful comedian. His journey shows that it's possible to chase your passion, no matter the obstacles. 💪 His honesty about the hardships of the medical field in Malaysia was eye-opening, especially about the long hours and the stagnant wages. Totally agree when he mentioned not listening to parents for career advice - sometimes we just gotta follow our own path. 🎤 Also, respect to him for not just focusing on money but finding balance between passion and financial freedom. The part about how his mom became his 'manager' is hilarious too! 😂 Keep it up Mr. Money TV, this episode really hits the spot! 💥

To Dr.Jason Leong, thanks for highlighting the toxic bullying and elitism in medicine. You are a brave person to leave medicine!

Honest truth is he is a lazy person who can't keep up with the pace. Just ask anyone who works with him before there. He is an entitled spoil brat. Ultra sensitive and unteachable. If u don't believe, try criticising him in his account. He will block u 😂

I think most of the viewers here would agree that you let Jason talk more instead. He's your guest after all. I find that I keep waiting and waiting and waiting for Jason's turn to talk.

your kids are still so young as they grow older, how to make them more resilient, and independent and that you will not be bailing them out will be critical. yes, leaving them too much money can make them soft and less ambitious --- why work so hard? Just take a simple path will do

I remember Kumar (who is actually funny) once said "Should have stayed a doctor" after Jason did the opening act.

JL is not a comedian I respect. His standup has become a way tp insult others not to make ppl laugh, entertain. Douglas lim is soo much better.

@@leealex24 i guess one man's food is another's poison. each have their own tase and likings. we should respect that. to you he is not a comedian. to others he is. just because your wife loves you, dont expect other women to feel the same. its a world with many colours and with many who have their favourite choices. Cheers !

Mr Many mind your grammar. 'Did' must always be followed with a present tense verb not past tense e.g did go not did went

19:00 yes that true, lives are at stake with doctors. Not saying that doctors don't deserve their compensation. But please don't forget when engineers f up, that's on another level.

To earn that much you still need to be good at what you do. You still need to attract patients to come to you. It’s a business.

Micheal Jackson was an extreamly successful entertainer due to the punishing training he had as a Child with his brothers. But I can say that he was not a happy Man. There is a Price to pay for everything. The question is, What are you willing to forgo in the pusuit of success and upon achieving it, will it make you a happier Person? 🤔

actually much less, since most of the doctors are contract and at some point (now for me) u make less 1.5k MYR/month than its supposed to be if you were to enter the service on permanent scheme (old scheme) due to no increase in salary grade.

Interesting thing with UK is that we are experiencing the same talent drain. The NHS is run by overseas nurses and doctors as the new generation of doctors end up going overseas themselves to practice.

Typical Asian mentality - just because I suffered, you have to suffer it's shocking how we treat our doctors (at least those in public sector) like shite, when this is a critical profession that is more important than most... certainly moreso than the grossly overpaid idiot MPs we have
