"time in the market vs. timing the market" is a good mindset to adopt when business is changing. Hi Mr. Stingy! I'm one of your blog readers. I'm Kakak Kedekut or Sister Stingy. These both guys are AWESOME!!!! I'm now financially free and because of Covid -19 I started enjoying my life like travelling and spend more for family and myself. Kurangkan the kedekutness....But still with the mindset of Kakak Kedekut and not upgrade lifestyle.

Don't need to compare with our friend's bungalow or their house price, maybe a small house with all things we dream of or can be able to build our own dream home is what makes us feel accomplished and contented with what we had in our dream home, we chase for own dreams and not dreams of the others

Really good podcast here! As a fresh grad, I felt like I learnt from two “seniors” who have had different life experiences and found some satisfaction or at least peace with the paths they have chosen. I find the interviewer to be very open and great and making his guest feel at ease, while the guest is obviously an introspective person who delivered some great perspectives. We all face challenges at work but it’s nice to know that there are helpful and well-meaning people out there who understand that life is so much more than just work (with the list of non-negotiables like quality time).

Happiness of money indeed diminishes, making the first one million dollars will always be more satisfying than the next million dollars, because the first million dollars solidify your finances any more money is just an excess which may not be worth the sacrifices if you are working in a career you don't like. For example, the longer you work the more money you should make but would you want to retire late, probably not right, so that means people should stop chasing for money when they have gotten enough.

Relatable. Been through some key points & challenges over the last 22 years. It reaches a point when I question myself what I want. Supportive family plays a pivotal role in that decision of how I want to steer the course of my work life; that being said, one has to start somewhere in financial literacy and establishing expenditures & savings based on needs & wants. It's never too late to start but it is forever if one doesn't start at all. It's okay to seek help from associations/organizations that can guide you if needed. All in all, learn to know what is enough and pamper yourself & family once in a while to let out your happiness.

True ,money is just a tool to get things, don't need what other think of us,new to golf is sure interesting, but after u can play it just a sports that u had learn the technique,I found other sports can challenge us about our strategy, more to talk about strategy, doesn't mean higher price point sports is any better, sometimes we just need other cheaper sports to make us happy because maybe it's something that makes us true happy that challenged us to think how to strategize to win
