Hi thanks for watching and commenting. It is possible to rent a car either in UAE or Oman and drive across both across both countries but you will need special insurance paper from the rental car company. However to return the car to a different country form where it was initially rented must be confirm with the rental company as these are two different countries.

Hi thanks for watching and great question. In this case you will have to check if your nationality requires visa to enter Oman 🇴🇲 and apply online for a tourist visa with your passeport in case you don’t have Emirates ID.

Hi sorry for late reply and thanks for watching 🙌Great question! There are plenty of rental car companies in Dubai that allows you travel from Dubai to Oman such «ejarcar» and « uaerentalcars ». Otherwise you can pretty much rent from any rental agency and just ask them for the orange card to be able to enter Oman 🇴🇲. Hope this can help!

I was planning to travel to Salalah for 10 days to visit my brother in law next month along with my wife and two sons, I am resident here UAE, by profession I am security manager, my family is sponsored by me, I am planning to travel in my own car which is owned by me and I have travel insurance (orange card) for it for oman, Kindly advise if my profession security manager falls in approved professions? do I need to apply online visa if yes which catagory I will select for me and and my family. Or can I get visa at the border entry point,

Hi thanks for watching! Great question. As long as you have your emirates ID you can easily apply for a tourist visa, it does not matter which profession you have. Hope that helps and have a great travel in Oman !

Hi thanks for watching.. actually my car insurance from Dubai covered my car in Oman as well. However at the border you can get insurance for your car while in Oman, this will depend on the type of your car, duration of stay etc 🙌
