Hey Tim is your book solely on food industry logistics? Does it cover sourcing, packaging and delivering process? Is it safe to say that most distribution centers have something to cover all that I asked about above? Outside of your book dealing with food are there other recommendations as well that would complement your book and give more info into developing a food product fro sourcing to end in deliveries and getting products in to the local or major grocery chains?

Thank you for your note and the book does not cover logistics. It provides a roadmap and view from the leaders seat, seeing how all of the parts of a successful food company align and fit together. The book covers multiple areas and does not define or give insight into running each area. My book focuses much of the time on the overlapping points between the departments. I've distilled my success observations into a simple 5 part system that can be used by brand owners in any category in a supermarket or store. Does it cover sourcing, packaging and delivering process? No, it covers what needs to be accomplished on a proven path for long-term survival and success in this business.
