My friend, I hope you don't see what I'm going to say as something harsh or judgmental. I have read the bible cover to cover, I grew up in the church and I was even a missionary for a few years. I understand that you only want the best for those you love and to save them from being deceived into a life of sin. I'm sure you're also worried about them going to hell. Can I just say one thing though and then I will leave you in peace? I have come to find that folks like you aren't rejecting a sin within a queer person... you are rejecting the most special part of who they are: their ability to love. I'm a lesbian and went through the same thing with my family. I just want to say that that message is what lead me to try to take my life. A hurtful message is hurtful even when it's said with nothing but love. I hope that you don't feel judged and that you can see things in a different light. That god can't be love (1 John 4:8) if he doesn't accept who we are. Hope you're having a good day.

With this being the case, we should not be self righteous and hypocritical because we all are guilty in the eyes of the Lord. We have to all repent and pray without ceasing for those we love and also for those who are not enjoined in our beliefs and moral standards. The difference between a believer and a non-believer is that believers are sinners who have accepted Jesus Christ and non-believers are sinners who haven’t...but at the end of the day we’re all sinners
@GloryBeToGodForever3 жыл бұрын
@The Redcorn There is a difference my dear friend. Born again Christians do not practice sin. 1 John 3:9 “No one who is born of *God* will continue to sin, because *God's* seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.” Unbelievers are slaves of sin. John 8:34 *”Jesus* replied, Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”

Born again believers in Christ do not sin. We continue to make some mistakes but there’s a difference between sinning and making mistakes. 🙏🏾

@@GloryBeToGodForever You are right BUT I know that @The Redcorn is trying to say. We were ALL born into sin (Romans 3:23 - For All have sinned and come short of the glory of God). However, as sinners you have those that accepted Jesus and then you have those that has NOT accepted Jesus as their Lord & Savior.
@GloryBeToGodForever2 жыл бұрын
@@katslat8410 Yes, completely agree. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of *God”* Romans 3:23. The verse says “sinned,” past tense. True born again Christians don’t continue to practice sin, 1 John 3:9. Anyone who considers themselves a Christian and continues to practice sin is on their way to the Lake of Fire, will not enter heaven. There many Christians out there, like the One Saved Always Saved doctrine, who think that it’s okay for you to continue practice sin and still make it to heaven. *Christ Jesus* did not died on the cross for us to indulge in the flesh. Ephesians 5:5-7 [5] For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of *Christ and God.* [6] Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of *God* comes upon the sons of disobedience. [7] Therefore do not be partakers with them.

It is through the broken and messy lives of repented sinners that the grace of God can be clearly witness. Keep the testimonies coming.

Thank you for your testimony. God wanted me to hear this tonight. As someone who just recently got into seeing Christianity as a relationship and not a religion, and growing up to a Roman Catholic background, I also still see Christians who tend to be so KJ with advocating their belief to the point they are so critical and dogmatic. The love for others is not present anymore, and seeing these types of people, which I call "Modern Day Pharisees," I admit I get a lot of spiritual warfare. Your testimony gave me reinforcement that indeed Jesus is not like these people. Yes He was firm, but He was also kind , loving, and accepting. He didn't condemn things, nor was he killjoy God bless you and everyone ❤️
