Something different my friends as we head into the weekend. This was one of my recent trips away and I’ll post the haunted Hydro Majestic Hotel video soon. It’s important to remember to stay grounded in times of worry and strife. Also not forgetting the beautiful and historic world in which we live.

Tennessee is beautiful. It was one of my first business trips, 1991 or s8, and I wanted to move there ( from Tucson) for the rolling hills and blue grass). If you know how to use your KZbin, maybe you could create a place for us to share beautiful places we have visited..I was in Colorado and allowing with my family this last Summer.❤ I would l8ve to see your corner of beautiful Tennessee!

How fabulous, Maryanne! Thank you! What a lovely lift for our heavy American hearts (here, a blue dot in very crazy red eastern Tennessee) ! You’re a Godsend!

I was thinking the same. It's so beautiful in Australia, but there were a couple roads that had me nervous - only because I watched some geologists talk about what caused the devastating flooding from Helene by standing in those areas of failure while describing it. A couple of those places look like they're made up of the same features. Beautiful all in all though and a wonderfully relaxing experience. Thanks Maryanne for sharing it with us!

I find old cemeteries are like venturing into a museum. There are so very interesting. I have been to many pioneer cemeteries in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Gravestones that go back to the 1800 ‘s as the area was populated by Scottish settlers who travelled from Scotland to the area aboard the Ship Hector. Thank you for sharing the cemetery walkabout.

I do find much beauty in old cemeteries. The house I grew up in was across the road from a small cemetery in the country. Most of the gravestones were for people that died from small pox going back to the early seventeen hundreds. I found this to be one of the most peaceful places I have ever been in.
