I was super happy about the conditions they were forecasting for this Friday. 22 degrees and 15 to 20 knots. I was looking forward to test my new board I bought recently.
Coming from a F-One Rocket Air 7'2 with 190 litres and going to ride a JP Wingair 5'4 with 110 litres .
But it was going to be a bit different. The wind was stronger than forcasted and I was completely overpowered with 5 sqm. One of the locals lend me her 3.5 wing (she was going with a 2.8) but still, too hard conditions to get your new board known. Anyway, was a good experience.

@@flyingfootage it was. but i was only a little disappointed by the result. well, in the end i was on complete new material with a rented wing and a new way more smaller board. In the end I have learned what to do and what not to do. Learnings from an extreme day.

Moin das ist schon sportlich von der Titanic zum Sportboot 😊 das schaffst du schon 1bis 2 mal üben! Hab Sonntag auch mal 118 Liter probiert geht auch aber ne möchte ich nicht nicht wenn man perfekt fahren kann und nicht mehr so oft reinfällt macht kleins Board Spaß😊 das hoch kommen und los fahren ist schon kräfte....

Danke :) Ich glaub auch, dass der Weg jetzt nicht mehr so weit ist. Die Bedingungen waren allerdings auch echt extrem. Der Druck im Wing war total verwirrend, mal doll, mal wenig. Echt schwer sich dann noch auf das Board zu konzentrieren. Im Endeffekt war ich mit einem fuer mich neuen Wing und Board unterwegs. Darf man nicht zuviel erwarten :D Aber die langen Arme danach waren schon ganz schoen...

@@PeterGogolin ja wenn der richtige Wind da ist braucht man viel Kraft! Aber man startet schön ohne pumpen! Leicht nach hinten lehnen und los geht's 😁

@@WanderlustadventuresAK my next session after this was way better with less wind. I think I could stand the high winds now with a small wing as I am more used to the board.

@@PeterGogolin well today I get disapointed. I put the new 3sm wing and still couldnt do anything. Very strange sensation that I dont hold anything in my hand. But the wing was flying allover... I couldnt put the board down to plan so that I can fly in the foil... whenever I did I fell down... this windconditions over 15 knots are not for me yet... I need 10 to 14 max and 4m or 5 m wing...
