Apparently, that proverb is actually from Southern Africa. “In the Setswana-speaking part of the African world, the bovine is referred to as “God with the wet nose”. I don't know why CT was quick to dismiss Dudley's interpretation of the proverb by saying that according to Dudley cows read the bible. I actually agree with the interpretation that since the cow has a wet nose, it must believe that God too has a wet nose. The proverb has simply substituted man for cow, for we believe that God looks like us even when all the evidence around us clearly proves that God is something that we are incapable of understanding.

No one got that "Burundian" proverb. "according to the cow God has the white noise" simply means what ever one does not know is a foreign language.
