I fondly recall the grass roots efforts that were instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. The individual behind this initiative embodies great wisdom and integrity. She genuinely cares about uplifting, hard-working individuals, particularly those who have been overlooked or marginalized. Her understanding that perseverance in the face of opposition is vital for success, is truly inspiring. I am immensely proud of her and eagerly anticipate seeing more of her work highlighted, as it deserves great recognition for the impactful efforts she has initiated. So very proud of you!

Wow she is incredible! To see her vision come full circle is amazing! It’s interesting that they chose not to renew her contract after seeing what she’s accomplished is disheartening! Hopefully other communities within the city will see the value she brings and hire her!

What a DISHEARTENING EVENT to remove this position from a WOMAN that has been in that neighborhood for 25 YEARS THIS IS THE TYPE of CITIZEN we CLAIM WE WANT and then when THERE DREAM becomes a SUCCESS they REMOVE HER …. I’d be INTERESTED IN KNOWING WHAT THE REASON WAS TO ELIMINATE HER POSITION …. She came UP though the RANKS to this TOP position…. I can only think of ONE REASON… Unless another LEGITIMATE REASON COMES TO THE FOREFRONT !

I wonder if using batteries with a couple of solar panels would be better options for them!! I wish this young lady nothing but success, so proud of her! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I agree. There are many communities in rural areas starting to use solar panels and I think they get some kind of state financial assistance to start it.

i am wondering if this would be a good opportunity to explore alternative energy resources? everything starts from an idea, and perhaps an infrastructure of alternative energy sources could also be implemented here.
@fisherlove11320qКүн бұрын
Like solar energy?
@questwingsКүн бұрын
@fisherlove11320q yes, that may be a viable option. i don't know enough to say what options are plausible and sustainable for the creation of a new grid of energy. someone has to do , so this could be a good place to start.

The North End also has a community land trust but not as a housing development like this one. I think they’ve had several articles written. I want to go see this development. It looks nice.🌺

if anyone can pass this msg to Ms Talley--if she's looking for a city w/ ample land to replicate her redevelopment idea, the historic westside of LAS VEGAS from owens st (N) to washington st (S) from the 15 (E) to martin luther king (W) is RIPE for redevelopment. there's not been any significant development in the area in at least 30 yrs and she is knowledgeable enough to get whatever councilmember to stop making empty promises, smiling for the camera & create some legitimate, viable change for this community!
