From inland to ocean |a DEEPER look into Searys Creek|

Searys Creek is a popular swimming area close to Rainbow Beach. It boasts clear waters that will definitely wake you up! the environment has a some unique aspects to it that you don't see every day and is definitely a place you should visit!
In this video you will see the kinda fight it took to make it to where we were, and it sure wasn't easy, but it was for sure an amazing experience as we waded neck deep through close passage ways, in water which houses eels in excess of 1.5m.

I personally wouldn't suggest doing this, National Parks have put the board walk in for a reason so that people can enjoy the creeks beauty without damaging the rest of the creeks habitat as stated there is very little of this type of habitat left so we need to protect it, it wouldn't stay pristine for to long if people started wondering through, I can appreciate wanting to explore but you can see all of this from the designated area pretty much anyway without destroying the rest of it.

@@JaedonLunt I wasn't having a go ether, I've thought about it my self a few times, but when you look at the big picture and see how run down these places get where people go you begin to understand, there are 2 endangered fish in that creek so it would be a shame to degrade it, last time I was there I picked up a dirty disposable nappy and some other rubbish, that's how some people look after the place.

@@JaedonLunt Your always going to get those few people that you wonder why they even bother going to these beautiful spots if they are going to do such things, I subscribed to you because you do have some nice content, I have thought about doing that in the past as I said but after seeing you I'm glad I didn't if anything you saved me some time 🙂

As an ecologist I can see how awesome this adventure is but maybe try it in a tiny little kayak next time, it's a bit of a shame to mess up the habitat so much by stomping through it. And watch out for Bullrouts, it would only be a matter of time before you step on one, or get hit by a snake or something.

I can see where you're coming from. However, with a storm, there would be plenty of habitat messing up naturally. The damage ratio is not high on my part. But thank you for your comment and concern
