Wow, very exciting to see this series of lectures made available on your channel. Thanks for making this available to the public. Also what is meant by enclose and open ayns? I imagine it is a way of dating inscriptions based on how they write the ع?

Just a point on text and theology 1. The levant sham is mentioned as place of Mahshar-gathering before the day of judgement - the last place where people gather the destruction of the earth, last bunch of humanity there 2. The earth of resurrection is a new place created this is what muslims believe according the texts

Dr. Shean lived in the Middle East and he totally ignored the other side of scholars' studies on the origin of the Middle east languages. I recommend reading/watching Dr. Bahgat Al Qubais and Dr. Ahmed Dawod, their material is translated in English.

Let me help you! The Arabic language wasn’t even written yet at the time of Muhammad! Only Aramaic! The first inscription written in Arabic was found in Jordan! Arabic was written for the first time created by Christian Monks who’s language was Aramaic Syriac and use their language and added DOTS to make the arabic dialects into a written form! Remember the early arab movement was a Christian movement! Obviously was an attempt of the Christian Monks to spread Christianity to the Arab beduins tribes.

"The Arabic language wasn’t even written yet at the time of Muhammad! Only Aramaic! " - We have dated manuscript to that time ... not to mention rock inscription with actual dating.. "Obviously was an attempt of the Christian Monks to spread Christianity to the Arab beduins tribes." - Well obviously is not, arabic script is a mix from nabatean and aramaic, but it was written in another script check Ahmad Jallad - safaidic script Similar jewish wasnt in this script early either

@@artf2651 🤣🤣🤣 Show me anything anything anything written in Quraysh Arabic or even ANY Arabic so called 7 dialects before Muhammad or 7th century AD. I guess your God AL LAH didn’t know how to read and write until the Aramaic Syrian Christian monks made up the Arabic language to preach the beduins Arabs! Again! Don’t suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder, stay on topic and do the assignment! Again! Find me anything anything anything written in Arabic or ANY Arabic before the 7th century AC. After Christ!

@@artf2651 You must be the one lacking any reading comprehension skills! Don’t attack me, try to attack the argument, if you can! But it’s obvious that Muslims don’t have any supporting arguments outside their own Scholars and Imams Lies! A cult for brainwashed Useful Idiots! Again read the argument about the original evidence of the FIRST Arabic language SENTENCE found in Jordan written by Christian Arabs again!

@@tc7500 The one making these claims is you, what scholar makes these claims ?! What did arabs write, chinese ?! Its irrelevant how the script was developed, u said arabic wasnt written at the time of the prophet, which is ridiculous We have more supporting arguments for our religion all these studies testify to it

That’s why the ultimate source of Islamic truth is the Qur’an-not the Hadith or any other outside source. God’s word holds the highest authority above all.

@@KaijuOfTheOpera Yes, and we actually don’t deny that the Bible originally came from God. But just that it was eventually tampered with over time (as historical study itself has even now clearly revealed), and people added to it the words of mere men to the words of Jesus Christ, who weren’t actually inspired. So for us the Bible is indeed one of God’s revelations; but in its current form, it is mixed both with the words of God as well as the words of men. That’s why the Qur’an-which we know is preserved-in fact calls itself the “Furqān” (‘The Criteria/Standard’) since it’s the “litmus test” by which we judge anything else as being truth versus false, and right versus wrong. And the Qur’an can be shown to be God’s word, because of all its miraculous features that permeate its very structure, content, and impact (not the least of which is the fact that it is so easy memorized completely word-for-word by millions of people, including countless children-who don’t even speak the Arabic language!) Yet its logical teachings and miraculous aspects are sufficient for us to be convinced that it is in fact the word of the Creator, as it explicitly claims. So again-we believe in God, and in what was revealed us, but also whatever was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes; and also in that which was given to Moses and Jesus, and to ALL the prophets from their Lord. We do not discriminate between any one of them-and to Him (God) we surrender ourselves in complete devotion. Peace.

@@celestialknight2339Please. Do not resort to faith-based argumentation within the context of an academic disagreement; that makes us (Muslims) look dumb as hell. It literally makes it seem that we claim to believe in God, yet have not me granted the mental capacities to challenge others on strictly academic grounds. I think that's a rather unfortunate way for the rest of the word to see the community of Muhammad; and Allah knows best.
