@@sanyey8405Yeah, besides the detailing, most of the other stuff done to this car requires either lifting it or some very expensive tools. It’s theoretically doable in your home garage, but you will probably lose your sanity.
@arikauraniemi93832 ай бұрын
90's cars were the most economic ever produced. With a little effort one can make those cars run for 30-40 years. I have a garage, set of tools and a second-hand old Miller welding machine. My 90's cars won't go away soon. Sadly, people don't like their cars anymore, they just like to drive them. So we are wasting massive amounts of natural resources these days to produce new cars that won't last 10 years on the road.

What a lovely little Corsa! You did a fantastic job! This was my first car. Mine was a 1998, deep blue, two door. It was a surprisingly agile car for the city. Sadly, Czech Republic is a "salt-friendly" country and the car completely rotted away in 2012 and had to be scrapped. Its last journey was with me, my wife and our newborn daughter from the hospital. I will never forget.

The term gained popularity in the U.S. beginning in the 1980s[5] when it was commonly contrasted with the Sun Belt, which was surging. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rust_Belt

Massive 'like' on this one. I have been detailing many years, but watching KZbin videos of professional detailers flexing about their 'skills' while cleaning already clean cars, and basically just using their videos for sponsored product placements, is getting B O R I N G. This was genuinely brilliant, and I say that absolutely genuinely. Few spray can tips: - buy spray can adapter that allows you to hold the can as paint gun, its cheap, it more ergonomic and your finger don't get tired 😅; - buy nozzles with wider spread, it will save quite a lot of time when doing larger parts like wings or doors. This two things from my experience was so helpful when I was painting front wings on a car I was really amazed how speedy whole process was.

Weiter so!

I love watching videos like this. I myself would like to restore an older car like this, about 20-25 years old. But I don't have enough knowledge. I already do the usual service, oil and filter change. But I would like to learn how to change at least the brake fluid and discs and pads. I would probably change the spark plugs and the coolant myself. But I have a 4-year-old car, and after the first year of use, I had the chassis and hollow parts of the body protected by a company that deals with this. They recommend renewal of protection every 2 years. The problem is that I don't have an elevator and it's disgusting to crawl down there. But every year I try at least enough to spray at least the more exposed parts around the ruts with the same product, this time in a spray (Krown).
