No wonder those people were so tough. No time to worry about the merits of abortion or borders or immigrants or anything else trivial. They had real lives and real worries, real inner strength, and real friends.

Well that was fun! Always a pleasure watching people do what they do. I remember watching the logs go up the chains and wondered what went on. Now I know. Thanks.

I like the way the tube saw cuts the inside and outside of the stave at the same time.

Since they charred the inside, they must white oak whiskey barrels

Sweeny's cut only Douglas Fir. All the raw logs were LR or lumber rejects for rot, twist, ring shake. There was a lot of cut off sections included in the booms that were shown. I scaled the odd one myself.

@@jamescampbell7780 I'm not sure what they all were used for. This was before plastics so I would imagine they shipped a lot of different liquid products in them. I do know they were not used fpr alcohol. They made smaller ones for nails and railway spikes.
