Sungudi sarees are traditional cotton sarees from Madurai, Tamil Nadu. These are centuries old sarees woven in tie and dye process. The fabric is bleached initially and various motifs are handblock printed. Motifs are usually in Bandhani which is one of the unique features of this saree. These are light weight, durable and comfortable to wear.
