@@Jewel_Ting haruma Miura, the leading man died from suicide in 2020. FYI haruma Miura Is a top leading man in japan. He is like, Japan's Lee Min Ho. He was very popular and has starred in a lot of famous shows. He is the perfect Kazehaya Shota of kimi ni todoke. The new one who plays the role right now on Netflix don't even give the Kazehaya vibe. If you've seen the anime you'll get what I mean. Mikako tabe(actress) and Haruma Miura really did brought the Manga characters into life. This movie used to be my favorite film. Now I couldn't bring myself to watch it anymore.

After seeing the new live action on netflix ( and the original anime, which I watched over and over as one of my fav's), I really would love to see this one too sometime. It is really heartbreaking that the actor of Kazehaya ( Haruma Miura) passed away. I hope more people seeing this will reach more people's hearts and see both these actors and him shine ✨ i love this anime, and both live action's seem to be really good ❤

I just read that Haruma Miura passed away. So sad... (Sources told the media outlet that Miura was found hanging by his manager, who went to Miura’s home to find out why he didn’t show up for work. What appears to be a suicide note was discovered in his room.) Great actor, another wonderful person is gone... wish someone could have helped him... 😭😭😭
