Jonathan Ive, British designer, is a leading figure in the field of industrial design and product design. Born in 1967 in London, he studied industrial design at Newcastle Polytechnic and the Royal College of Art. In 1992, he joined Apple, where he became the head of industrial design in 1996. His revolutionary vision has led to the creation of iconic products such as the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad, which redefined the technology sector and influenced global design. Knighted in 2012, Jonathan Ive is a pioneer of modern design, with a lasting impact on our daily lives.

A true genius can focus on many projects at once, especially when that person is being paid hundreds of millions of dollars to do so. And remember, Jony gave Apple customers “thinnuh” and “lightuh” which meant slower laptops, with less memory, and shorter battery life. Customers wanted to be able to store their media and play it back, not to have to pay to rent their media from giant studios or record companies month after month. Again and again, Apple gave customers what was best for Apple, not what was best for the customer.
