Adding more context: the youngest girls were about 9 but luckily the subject changed quickly (I was in high school). It was three girl scout troops from across the US all traveling together but it was actually so much fun. We went to Ambergris Caye too (where the murder happened) but did not see that house (I didn't know what part of Belize the murder happened until J Aubrey said Ambergris Caye and I instantly rewinded). Everyone is so nice in Belize and it's a truly beautiful place. Fun fact: we also saw people who belonged to the Belize Amish community on the same boat ride.

You know the crazy part of all this was I worked for McAfee from 2005 until 2011. The insider notes we got were SOOO much worse than what was portrayed in the media. You missed one of the biggest issues we had to deal with for a long time. In 2005 John and the company McAfee were hit with insider trading. It was some Enron style sh!t. We were locked down to a limited amount of direct hire employees at 5k in the charter and there were SO many other restrictions. However, the stories of his parties were immortalized in hush hush water cooler conversations and I so wish I could have partied with him. Damn, there were stories of him doing lines of coke off a prostitute's a$$ at his desk. They seemed so outlandish and unbelievable, at the time, for a totally straight laced 28yo guy just out of the military. Now, I just look at it like WOW it had to be the drugs.

I like how j aubrey doesn't take sides when there is not enough evidence. I just watched the fps Russian video and other internet documentarians would have said "yeah he killed the guy" or "oh yeah she destroyed the lab, or he r**ed her". He gives both sides of the story credit when there is no evidence but also is not afraid to throw the blame on someone when there is enough evidence. which I respect. Plus your pleasant voice and upbeat and down to earth way of reporting these events makes the stomach wrenching stories and horrible stories, such as McKamey manor, stomach able. So good job you have hit the bullseye of content.

@@potatochipclips lol you just like jumping straight to assumptions without thinking too far. no one cares about money or who's scamming who, cause in the end if it's not some 'get rich guru' it'll be the banks/government. bet your hostility towards some people is just following the herd. a man who only sees everything in extremes is a lost man. take the good, screw the bad, and you may find the conscious path

@@GalaxyouthTV Hold on Sun Tzu. I never took anything to an extreme I gave you one opinion I had and you just told me to cool it with the extremes. Also I don't believe tax is theft, if that is what you mean, as it's purpose is to support the community. But also your line of thinking is flawed in the sense that the government taking your money and the banks is almost inevitable, where as paying some bald dude who kick boxes to get some scam advice or some wanna be Tate with half the credibility, is not. The government will always come, unless your like a millionaire who can move money, but they will come so why already pay them and then on top of that throw your money at scams as well. That is like saying oh well my food is gonna disappear when I eat it so why not throw it in the trash. Take the good, learn and grow from the bad, and that is how you become a functional human being.

"just because you're paranoid dont mean they're not after you" I bet a guy like McAfee has serious enemies he probably has his reasons for being carefull or paranoid as some may call it.

It has been theorized in high conspiracy theory that he was drone spying on jeffreys island. Theory is theory reality is something else. McAfee is totaly wacky and I enjoy slipping him some money he makes the world more fun. Make problem fix problem=satanic cult tactic. Like Bill gates, Clinton and Obama usualy employ.

He most probably has serious enemies. I've met him a couple years back when he, his wife Janice and his two 'ex-military' bodyguards were looking to purchase a property in Thailand. He didn't end up buying when he learned that as foreigners, him and his men couldn't legally carry weapons. He had a colorful personality but he was always polite.

I wouldn't be surprised if a future gta VI character would be inspired by him

Definitely gonna be a reality especially if the next one is really the supposed vice city like setting with a Rio de Janeiro type place that everyone’s been talking about, would be cool to see him as some character you have to take out in his armored compound or some shit

He reminds me of Far Cry as well. Wouldn’t be surprised if either franchise takes note of this story.
