[From my dashcam] Seattle Police, Fire &EMS Responses #24

It's time for another collection of response clips, captured on my dash cam! Not much SPD in this one, but tons of SFD chiefs, medics, plus a capture from a department I hadn't filmed before.
A few of these clips are related to other videos on my channel. The epic chief parade at 1:30 was also featured in my "Big Structure Fire Response" video back in August ( • Big structure fire res... ). If you look to the upper left, you can see some of the smoke from that fire in this clip.
The clip at 2:41 shows me arriving at Golden Gardens for a water rescue response - I caught Rescue 1 and several other units at that call ( • Seattle FD Rescue 1 re... ).
The first clip with the PIO shows SFD units on scene for a Hazmat call - this was when I completely failed to catch the Hazmat team after I waited in the wrong spot. Ladder 8 at 0:26 was another miss - I was trying to get a structure fire call, but most units were cancelled before I could get there.
At 1:14 I captured the Long Beach Fire Department responding - this was filmed last weekend while I was down in the LA area for a wedding. Unfortunately, I didn't get any in-person catches while I was down there (it was a short trip). Still better than nothing - thanks for watching!

Awesome footage! How about the wrecked truck at 3:43?! I remember that one because the traffic cameras caught the truck losing control making a turn in the rain

Thanks - good eye spotting the truck! I got that one on traffic camera too, and I was surprised it was still there when I drove by hours later.

Lol, yup. Probably for another year or more - I'm not sure they've even started construction of the new station yet.

Does the fire signal not activate for all calls for units coming out of station 18 (see 4:24)? Curious, as while there's no true fire signals at station 17, I know that the signals at Roosevelt/50th and 11th/50th are tied directly into the station so that they're forced all red when a unit is leaving on a code red response.

No, I haven't seen them use the fire signal at 18 for quite a while. I think it stays on for too long and then traffic backs up into the intersection with 15th Ave NW, so they mostly seem to pull out without it.
