Greetings from Estonia! As Norway is my favourite destination for the past 6 years and i usually visit 4-5x per year and 1-2x of those on a bike from every summer to fall i always get a lot of great flashbacks from your videos. From the roadside restplaces, my hammock and the first coffee in the morning, it all brings a smile on my face, especially this video which had alot of the usual routes i drive through. Fantastic content as ever 👏. The changing views and angles of the camera with such painstaking editing. Truly amazing. Also thank you for leaving the slightly negative stuff in. It happens on trips. Thank you so much Rob 🙌🏻 Capture all those angles and build a visual story as part of the fun for me. So inspiring when people enjoy to watch it too! 👏🏻 Yeah, I get a lot of questions about this, and I see an ever growing trend online about depression and emotions. It looks like we are not allowed to have a bad day or negative thoughts without a diagnosis these days. So leaving it in the videos is my way of telling people that it is perfectly fine to have a great trip with bad days. It is all part of the game. Maybe we should do it even more. I have seen that you have some kind of mechanical cruise control, and on my current older bike I have no cruise control but really miss it! Is that model any good? Is it easy to handle? What is it called?
@tshansen7 ай бұрын
Yes, I use an Atlas Throttle lock on my bike, I have only tried this one, so I can't say how it is compared to all the rest, but I absolutely love this one. Easy to "lock" in, and easy to adjust. And you can still operate the throttle even if the lock is engaged.

@tshansen9 ай бұрын

Hello David. thank you for the nice words, I'm not sure how great I am, but I'm what I love most and sharing it with you guys 🤩 North Cape is a bucket list place for many. Don't forget to run past Lofoten while you are up there. My experience with the Atlas Throttle lock is great. I absolutely love it on the Tenere that does not have cruise control. Can't go without it to be honest.

Hi there, thank you very much for your stunning work! A friend of mine and me wondering if by the end of may we can ride through fjord Norway and the hinterland, but we are not sure about the temperature and if the passes are still closed end of may. Do anyone have got experience in matter of motorbike riding in southern Norway (up to Bergen and through Hardangervidda etc)? Thank you very much in advance
@tshansen9 ай бұрын
In late may you can get everything from 5 degrees to 30 degrees. The weather up here is really hard to predict in this time of year, but all the main roads over the mountains are open. Some of the roads, like down to Lysebotn, Trollstigen etc will not be open before early June or mid June. Depends on how much snow is here in the winter.

@tshansen10 ай бұрын

This was the end of September, but keep in mind that we had huge rainfalls in the later summer and some flooding, so that why there was so much mosquitos. I actually have no clue what the best months to get away from this plague. Maybe June?
