Sir, after watching your KZbin videos. ...It feels like I have found my reason to stay alive, I deserve more than average in life.... I stay in Mumbai,India and working as software engineer.. I have not been able to find my passion.The work that I am doing i.e. Software Development is certainly not my passion. I feel like I am in prison. After working 2.5 years as software engineer, I feel like my interest is somewhere else... Actually, after 10th, I never wanted to go in software engineering, yet because of this field pays more, my father sent me to engineering college that too on education loan. Now, I feel frustration in my work, I am not able to give 100% in my job. I feel like I am working just to pay my education loan debts,no joy in work; Also I feel like doing some business or startup on my own, I read motivation books of entrepreneurs as they say, "You can never achieve your dreams working 9am to 5pm job for whole life"; that has made me relentless, I cannot sleep at night. I feel frustrated all time. I don't know what to do. Inside, I feel I deserve something more out of life. I am not just born to work 40 years, marry, have kids, wait for retirement and die. But now I am stuck in a difficult phase of my life. Even I cannot change my career, As my financial situation is not good, my whole family is dependant on my income. Also the salary I earn goes in education loan debts. l feel like I am a victim. I am caught in a strange situation. I request you to please reply on this message. I am very frustrated. I desperately need an advice from you.Please help me.

you know the answer, however you are looking for validation from outside sources. You need to work your 9-5 while you figure out what your 'passion' is. You need to be saving your money as well, so that you can take the leap eventually.

my parents didnt want me. when i was born premature they wanted me dead. right now im 15 (turning 16 in july) and im still in my grandparents care. its sad how my parents never ever fed me or changed my diaper, and as im maturing as a young adult, they want me back. but i say no, im never going back! they dont deserve my company. even when im doing bad in school, as 2017 is my graduating year, its critical and yet they just tell me to go to the worst school (ITE) or drop-out and start working instead of motivating me. my friends have parents/grandparents whom they could talk to but i just cant. their not even my friends..i cry every night listening to this motivational speech.

I'm 25 I was bullied in elementary and middle school. Never had any close friends. My mom passed away when I was 9. My dad got remarried and always worked. Next thing I know my step mom turns into a bully never feeding me so I started to cook my own meals which pissed her off. In my sophomore year in highschool I started smoking cigarettes and drinking with a bad crowd. Because of the people I hung out with I made a bad decision and suffered a TBI at 17 my senior year. Everyone always looked at me as incompetent my dad included when I was a child. Now I'm living on my own working 30 hours a week and trying to get a computer science degree but it's hard I have no friends I'm socially awkward everyone looks at me with shame because I don't have a family of my own yet. So much on my mind people change, I'm thinking the TBI screwed me over. I may look normal on the outside but on the inside I'm still that scared little boy trying not to make a mistake. My mind feels as though it's slipping I'm falling and no one is there my best friend doesn't even talk to me our friendship always felt one sided I'm the one always trying to keep our friendship from falling apart but now I'm done with it. I haven't spoke to him since May. I also distant myself from my family to mature my mind with solitude.

I'm going to be vague on purpose, for a multitude of reasons, but I had a employee from my highschool give me a few words that still help me to this day. Very similar to what was was depicted in video. It doesn't fix everything,... but it still helps me to this day. It wasn't about my intelligence, but it was the most beneficial words I've ever been told! I feel like I'm obligated to mention this , because of the video. My words are not enough, but I'm very thankful! He probably already knows.

I once won a guitar contest at guitar center in Atlanta. Come in second at regionals. Judge said I didn’t make eye contact with audience. Can’t be a shoe gazer. I was gazing at my fret board. Shredding. Only been play two years. I’ve let thing distract me from my passion my god given gift. Just that one thing. Going after that and being able to play and learn anything I desire. What a wonderful thing. It Carrie’s over to all aspects of life and it part of who I am. Getting back to the fret. Board. That was the happiest time in my life. When I was all into guitar. Yngwie malmsteens jimi hendrix and Page. 80s metal. Pantera. Steve via. Like I had energy about me. No problem getting the prettiest of pretty girls. They line up on occasion. It was really like the lined up. Awesome crazy. Just need the one good one though. But that passion and going after that dream to play guitar like a bad ass. Things I would say. Impossible I’ll never be able. Practiced. Literally wake up one day and bam you can play that lick. You nail that part. You got it. Music takes time. To sink in. Being able to do what I felt impossible at one time . Something only guitar gods play. Believe in your self anyone could be on Hendrix level. If you want that

Everything we read, see, hear, and are taught is stored in our minds, in our subconscious mind. Even if we think we forget or don't remember. What he said about self talk is very important! I stumbled upon something I wrote to myself I said things like "you're an idiot, you'll never achieve anything, you're nothing" If you tell yourself that, you'll believe it! It starts with self talk! Believe in yourself even when NO ONE else does and there is NOTHING you can't achieve!!
