thanks to all doctors and nurses in belgium and all over the world. because of you there are far fewer people in hospital here in belgium. so we can slowly ,and with the necessary precautions,bring down the quarantine measures. so I can go back to work on Monday with a mouth mask and at a safe distance. Thank you. KZbin doesn’t usually make me cry, but this cuts right thru. My husband is an ER doc and I have a progressive autoimmune so we have had to keep or distance during COVID. I wish I could be there for him more. Thank you to every nurse,carer, grocery worker, postal clerk, garage collector, and all of the rest of the hospital staff around the globe. We are grateful and we worry about you and hope you stay safe. Words will never be enough to express our thanks. I just hope no one ever forgets what you have done and gives you the respect you deserve and companies compensate you for your efforts. From across the pond in. Massachusetts I thank everyone in the video too. Now, back to distracting myself with British mysteries😀

The NHS is not an amazing cause. It is a service provision that we all pay for with our taxes and is abused because it is free at the point of delivery. They are doing a job they chose to do. I would sooner clap someone at McDonald's who got my order right.

So uplifting, together we can conquer this. It is time for us to solidify our bonds across the globe and rise above this pandemic. Tough roads still lay before us, and not all of our leaders have our best interests at heart. It is time to demand a fairer world that looks after all those brave men and women who have held us up. Brought us comfort in our dark hours. Time to look after our brothers and sisters across this beautiful planet. 🌏❤️🌍

@lilyloves67354 жыл бұрын
Hi all- as frontline NHS staff what we really need you to do is VOTE FOR US. Don’t you dare go out and clap, or call us ‘heroes’ or get teary-eyed if you’re planning to vote Conservative in the next election. We have over 30,000 vacant nursing posts because they’ve slashed our bursaries and underfunded our hospitals for a decade so no-one wants to join this incredible profession. They’ve underpaid us and mismanaged us all while selling off the NHS to private companies like Virgin, Serco and Capita, whose boards many Tory MPs sit on, because at their heart they believe in privatisation. They’ve mismanaged our PPE. Since the COVID pandemic started, 2 of my A&E colleagues, who are brave, wonderful and committed nurses have attempted suicide because of the stress and lack of support. The NHS shouldn’t need donations- you already pay for it! It’s the government who choose not to put that money where it needs to go. If you support us, support any other party. Please- we’re desperate, and we badly need your help. Otherwise, your clapping and your tears are just an insult to us.
