I think i can probably speak for everyone by saying it doesn't matter what job you're doing be it pond work, demo, overflows, and yes even stumps, we all enjoy watching you work your magic in your machines! Thanks for the videos, Chris!

All that stumping work has to be tough on you and the equipment, I'm happy to see that you're almost finished with it. Hopefully you'll be able to start with the pond project soon!

With some of those wide shots, I can now actually see how the pond will fit into the landscape - how you could do this with a forest still sat there is impressive stuff. 😎

A lesson in humility for all new employees - all jobs have boring and monotonous elements but they are all part of getting a job finished. Letsdig18 videos are never boring. Bealy Good pond and area looking good.

I haven't been commenting lately, but I'm still here... hitting the Like button on each and every video. I know these jobs can become monotonous due to the repetitious cycles, but all we have to do is zoom out and look at the size of projects such as this. When you take into consideration that this was all woodland, it puts it into perspective. It takes awhile to get it all down to bare, stump-free dirt. There's been a shitload of work done, and you're nearing the final clearing stage. We'll soon hear the excitement in your voice when you start breaking ground on the pond build. And we'll be riding right beside you all the way through.

Also happy to see the stumping getting done.. anxious as you to see the end. But can appreciate that you are in a less comfortable situation than we are just sitting in front of a monitor watching you do the work. Appreciate your taking us along on these videos. Thank you !!

Don't worry about us, I'm happy watching you stumping still. You do it more than we watch, so it is easier for you to get boredI. I enjoy all of your videos, even the ones you are sure we are bored watching lol. I still go back and rewatch your lake dredging videos, I find it relaxing watching you fill the trucks and transfer the sand around

Look on the bright side…no rain days held you up to this point, and you got most of the burning done. You were pretty much able to hammer down for the last couple of months. With any luck Mother Nature will play nice for the pond build. Oh…and I hope you can talk Mr. Bealy into a 10 acre pond…you know he needs it! 😎 As always, thanks for sharing Chris!

It’s looking really nice Chris, I can’t wait until you start on the Bealy pond! That’s going to be the cool part of this job brother! That’s something how long those coals stay hot, because I know it was a while since you last burned and you just scraped and move them around a little bit and they start up again! I’d never thought they would last that long and not go out, that’s cool! 👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

Chris have you tried keeping 1 short fat stump near the fires to drop the burned ones on to get more dirt off ? It does work much better having a solid place to drop them on ! It's how my grandpa used do 50+ years ago 1 drops less work then 3-4 Give it a try on the next pile ! Back then he only had a drag-line clamshell bucket & small tractor with bucket but thats how he built his gravel pit clear a area mine for whatever he could sell & turned the pit in to a county dump !

Yep !! Lolol... Just what I was saying happened here in Western Ky. a few days back, Man, It did the exact same thing, T-Storm would blow up and drop 2-3 inches quick !! Pretty much same thing you said Chris , We got 5-6-7 inches of rain in 3-4 days... Something has changed over the last few years, seems like anymore, when one of those T-Storms pop up , they just DUMP the freaking rain !! But, hopefully it will ease up on ya Man, Your getting closer all the time, and already looking better when ya look out across there with all those piles gone !! I know your tired of stumping already Chris but, hell, i've been watching you for several years now, I really enjoy seeing the projects from start to finish myself, even if it does get a little boring from time to time...lolol... on these bigger jobs but, that's part of it !! I love to see the finish product, because I know something really, really nice is coming to look at and that you'll be proud of to show off to all of us !! Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening !! 'Where ever your at today" !! lololol... And , On too the Next.... I ain't to worried about the mud, I've seen ya in way, way, worse and always turns out just fine!! lolol... Have a Good one Man !!

How much of a threat is there to your hydraulic lines digging in these burn piles?

When the grease in the bearings catches fire, you have a problem with the hydraulic hoses.

Someone suggested poking the dirt out of a stump with the thumb tines. They should penetrate a bit deeper and if you're lucky it could crack the log allowing more air for it to burn. Then, taking an extra 2 seconds to lift the log as high as it will go before dropping will double the work accomplished. Dropping from twice as high, has 4 times the impact. 4 times the work, in less than twice the time, is about double what you're doing when you only drop them from 6 feet. So: Poke, Roll, Poke, Roll, Poke, Lift all the way up. Drop. Repeat as necessary.

6 inches of rain in a week!! We get 8” on average a YEAR here,,,,,. We would kill for half of that!! Hahaha. Of course it’s Southern Alberta where it’s almost desert,,, irrigation is all that has kept this area in crops, mostly,,,,,,. You have definitely been dry there for your area though mind you. It’s gonna be a weird year,,,,, but hopefully pretty wet. The southern USA, especially southwest is dry!!! It’s getting scary,,,,. Hope things go well for ya Chris!
