1. In the beginning, you might want to let the viewer know that the ticket machine have choice of 4 language if you can't read cze! 2. You might want to let the user know that you ONLY put your ticket for time stamp only ONCE for the time period of the ticket, doesn't matter if it is 1 ride or 72 hrs(3days), if you accidently put the ticket in the machine again! you just invalid the ticket and throw away the money!

Most places accept cards, but not all. There are places to change your money, that are not taking all of your money, e.g. the official one of the czech railways at the station, but you can search for others on the internet. Depending on the conditions of your credit card, some ATMs can be a good option, too. E.g. the ones of komerční banka (KB) - you have to decline the fixed exchange rate for a good result.

Note re unpaid fare for the 'big piece of luggage' (bicycle or big backpack/suitcase) - its extra CZK 20 with 30min or 90min ticket ('luggage ticket' is a separate one-off ticket). BUT if you have ticket for period of 1D or more, 1 'big piece of luggage' is included and goes for free on any journey. They define 'big piece of luggage' as bigger than max 25×45×70 cm. (smaller than that is free with any ticket, but 3 max) If you have stroller/buggy, it goes free. BUT, if the baby is not inside, then you have to pay for it as 'big piece of luggage' -CZK20:) What is the most interesting- if you have snowboard or skis: it goes for free with ANY ticket-why specifically snowboard/ski are free, no idea:)

@@ccmarcum The 59 trolleybus does not go to the city center. @foodloverasian143 it is 20 czk per item of large luggage. It is on the screen you choose the length of time your ticket lasts. You can be fined if you have a large check on sized suitcase and do not pay 20czk for it. I am pleased you didn't get fined.

Good to know. I guess the bus driver didn’t mention it at all. But this is a great information. Thank you for sharing
@letecmig Жыл бұрын
@@foodloverasian143 the bus driver doesn't give a damn. He/She just drives the bus/tram/train its his/her job, nothing more. Validating tickets and fares is a job for a ticket inspector who boards randomly...... If the ticket inspector boarded your bus.... then its his/her job to fine you.... and you would be fined, no mercy, no ifs, no buts. The key principle of Prague's public transport is 'honesty system': you got to be 'honest' AND THAT INCLUDES doing your homework regarding what you have to pay for-- BEFORE you start using the services. If you do not, then if you are unlucky and meet the ticket inspector.... no negotiations or explanations will help
