USAID plays an integral role in this process in Ukraine through the USAID-funded SAFEMed Activity, led by MSH, which supports the national procurement agency, Medical Procurement of Ukraine (MPU) to procure, warehouse, and deliver essential medicines and medical supplies directly to hospitals and health facilities across the country.
