What I think is very interesting is that things like this are hardly ever called out by the standard viewer. I'm no artist but I can manage, and I was raised with two sisters who are pretty freaking good at art so I've found myself noticing things like the above but also facial reactions, tiny little changes in expression (like a quick sigh before talking) and other little niche details that often go under appreciated. Comments like these help bring the attention to the light and I, even though I have no relation or connection to the artist in question, really appreciate it when people go out of their ways to comment things like this. Great comment. :)

OK CAN I JUST. RAMBLE for a sec??? these designs are so good i CANNOT believe it. Grian having a shoulder cape is SUCH a natural transition from his usual "elytra angel wings" design because they both have a sort of windy-ness to them. It also makes him look like a hobbit! Mumbo having that minimalist pringles face when simplified is simply adorable. I am chuffed to bits. And I love how you managed to make his suit more interesting with the arm straps and gloves, AND AND those pointy elf ears and rich guy hair!! Making Joel a tired-eyed sort-of-alien to link back to his skin's Shrek origins is so genius. AND SCOTT. SCOTT. WHY ARE THEY SO GORGEOUS??? The bottom eyelashes, the subtle lip curve, the teeth gaps when he made a hiss sound, THE HAIR SPARKLES??? Anime boy. He's an anime boy. Scar. His shoulder pockets. His pointy but curved teeth. His crying face. His kerchief and scars. Protect him at all costs. Lastly I'd like to appreciate the incorporations of hearts in all their clothes (its the life series symbol). Grian's heart pin to keep his shoulder cape linked, Mumbo and Joel's heart buttons, Scar's heart kerchief, and Scott's Heart Brooch! I love this video so much. You are now an inspiration to me in character design.

Oh I can't express how much i love this!!! The character designs the expressions, the framing and movement, the depiction of the pun items! Fantastic! The pun items (almost always) not being simply thrown on the ground but each having a unique action of drawing and presenting them was SO GOOD. I adore the reference at 0:52. The start of the puns make it seem like they’re brothers mucking around (Eg. Mumbo hitting grian with the block or grian swinging the pickaxe around them) I think it adds a depth of character no other animatic of this scene is able to convey I amy be 3 months late but Bravo!

"moon's not big" nice detail. seriously though, this is one of the best Minecraft-series based animatics I've ever seen. Very high quality, great art, tons of fun little details and references and of course the creative ways you incorporated the puns all coming together to make this so much more enjoyable. Best of all the character designs are SO nice with Mumbo's suit, Grian's half-cloak thingy and Scar's jacket all being very fitting and cool looking, not to mention how they make a good, recognizable silhouette and remain easily identifiable for the cuter simplified versions. In addition to the aforementioned aspects, you also have really good camera angles and posing that tell the story really well, be it a new character coming into scene or the characters stepping back for a laugh, some good examples being Grian sitting on the dirt wall at 0:15 and 0:18, Jimmy looking down at the conversation at 1:14, Scar's arrival during the mining pun at 3:46, Mumbo's dramatic joke at 1:31 and Grian giving a heart at 3:23. Overall a very well made, very creative interpretation of what was originally just people walking around in Minecraft. 10/10 I just wanna say, I like to keep my subscription list tidy. There are no channels on that list that I don't consistently watch unless they're a friend or family member and I only subscribe to a channel if I actually intend on watching more of their content, meaning I basically never subscribe to a channel after only seeing 1 of their videos. In this case however, I just absolutely love it. I subscribed to keep quick and easy access to the rest of the channel so I can catch up on it all later and I can't wait to see what you make in the future! Edit: sorry if this comes off as pretentious or anything i just wanted to gush about rhe video lol

The way you swap styles (Like when scar found the apple, to grian and mumbo panicking up the stairs, to the "camera" alongside Scar above and chibi grian in the speech bubble) is so satisfying. Very much helps that your character designs are so solid they feel PERFECT.
