Is there a restrictive covenant on the estate? Does Select Estate control the use of the land by the lessees? As a potential buyer, I don't want to find myself being a neighbour to a lessee who uses their acre(s) as a car repair yard or something. What if a lessee finds gold on their acre(s), can they mine(galamsey)?

Hi Korewaa brilliant work you're doing im from zimbabwe and based in the UK I've been greatly inspired by your work and dream of being self sufficient. Can I also suggest that you install a biogas digester for your cooking and hot water and manure for your vegetable and yard flowers etc. Also consider solar or a small wind turbine for your power needs. You can also consider rearing black soldier flies for your chicken and fish feed and their waste is also good manure this will also provide a steady income from your market garden and animal farming with minimal input costs. In kenya they also have this technology to grown animal feed for goats cows etc. It's called hydroponic fodder. You will be able to not only be self sufficient but also get a steady income from a very small piece of land with minimal labour and very eco friendly

I am so glad you pointed out the theft that’s been going on in Ghana. An acre is an acre is an acre which is 43560 sq ft doesn’t matter if it’s 4 lots or 10 lots. If the lots total doesn’t equate to this numbers it’s not an acre. Or 4048.86 sq m. If your lot is less than 10890 sq ft (.25 acre) than 4 lots will not equate to an acre. Don’t be fooled.

While i would be interested in attempting to purchasing land again and being so far away from Ghana it becomes difficult to really trust especially in getting indentures after payment. Love this!!!! Gorgeous and see the vision materializing!!! I have been telling all my friends and family to buy acreage NOW in the Volta and Savannah regions. STOP scrambling for plots in the concrete jungle of Accra and instead buy reasonable acreage in the Volta and Savannah regions that are extremely productive for agriculture; have scenic vistas so you can get residual income from homesteading (including green house farming) and Airbnb on your property. I remember when me and my husband bought two acres of beach front land in Prampram 20 years ago. People snickered and thought we were foolish for buying so far outside town.............ditto for river front land in Akosombo. You have to buy land off the beaten path in Ghana in areas considered remote but with massive potential and then wait for the risk to pay off.
@Korewaa-GhBizGirl3 ай бұрын
You are exactly right...I got the snickering too..but people have started developments around me now. Now the snickerers are asking for land around my property but they are all sold out...

@@Korewaa-GhBizGirl Alas....when majority of our people have tunnel vision and then whine when the white man, Chinese man and Diasporans cash in. The price of land is NEVER going down in Ghana..........demand far outstrips supply and foreigners are looking for large tracts of virgin African land because they know what time it is. I hope people wake up in time before they are priced out again. Anyway you have made a very solid investment, congratulations Queen! BTW many people don't know the trans west african highway is being built from Mauritania to Nigeria. Land in Central Region will multiply in value, especially those with acreage....ditto for land owned along the entire Gulf of Guinea. Why do people think foreigners are buying land from Winneba to the end of the Western Region bordering Ivory Coast?

I am very surprised that someone who has lived in Australia, comes home and still follow the same old unfair system. One arce is one arce, 43,560 Sq Ft. One lot, 1/4 acre, is 10,890 Sq Ft. Yours or Ghana's lot is 70*100 which equals 7000 Sq Ft. 6 lots at 7000 Sq Ft each equals 42,000 Sq Ft, 1,560 Sq Ft short of an acre. So, as someone who has lived abroad (Australia), should do a little better to change things in Ghana, not follow the same old ways of those who does not want change. As you are fully aware, an Australian will not sell you a 42,000 Sq Ft lot as an acre of land.
@Korewaa-GhBizGirl3 ай бұрын
I'm sorry...I think you either didn't watch the whole video or you didn't understand my Ghana English...I clearly said in the video that our Acre plots are equivalent to 6 standard 70 x 100 plots. The size of our one acre lots are 4,046 SQM....so I am definitely not following old ways... It helps if you get a full understanding of a situation before you post hurtful comments. I hope this clarification helps.
