Great job Eric! I like watching your process because it’s a lot like mine. You seem to do a lot of thinking on the fly.

Yeah, that’s the artist in me. I’ve never been too much into planning every little detail. It more fun to see what happens. Sometime is can bite you in the butt tho!😂

It's an awesome process to watch! You're far enough into it that I'm starting to feel anxious as tooling continues. If it was me, I'd be constantly telling myself "don't mess up, don't mess up!"

Ahh, thanks! Yeah, there is definitely a pressure along the way even without the Christmas deadline. Pretty much every step of guitar building is, “If I mess up this step I’m screwed.” One of the reasons I didn’t even consider filming the process until now on my 5th build. I still have a lot to learn but I am somewhat comfortable with the process. Thanks again for watching. Happy New Year!

It's cool to see someone building a guitar using a jig saw vs a band saw. Though that thicknesser sure looks like a very helpful thing to have to build a guitar!

I have a band saw but it’s really old and sometimes it’s just quicker to go to the jigsaw. You are correct the Safe-T-Plane sure is handy. I used it to thickness plane the entire body of the first guitar I built, before I got my big planer. It’s really great for headstocks tho. Thank for watching!
