There are many from China in their 40s-50s surviving in Singapore, I'm sure she able to survive too. Many China businesses are in Singapore and most service or sales person in this company do employ people from China to handle China tourist. All the best to her!

Everywhere is the same. I have seen people stay abroad for more than 10 years. I have also seen people that can't last more than 6 month. Even can't earn back the agent fees

Sigh.... Working with various customers with different needs is troublesome but part of the fun. Should have used her voice recorder in her phone to remember all the details and note it down somewhere. She's a pretty and cute girl, it should not be difficult to find a decent job. Just don't give up too easily.

She has found a job and is in the process. She might have to leave Singapore for a few days and the cheapest alternative is to go Malaysia and come back when the permit is ready at new company. Life is full of surprise thou.

@@AsiaChinaUnseen Yes, that can be done. My former in-laws did just that. I would recommend she stay there for a week though. Less questions asked by the customs officers when she re-enters Singapore. However, make sure she is not working during the wait. If not, she might be barred from staying in Singapore.

Malaysia is good place to go because of exchange rate but not a good place to work. Singapore is a better opportunity for them
