If any Barry Bond score deserved a 2 cd expanded/complete LaLa Land release, it certainly is FRWL, although I've read the original masters are lost. Nic Raine (a former John Barry orchestrator) did an ecxellent brief FRWL suite containing some of the Barry unreleased cues on the cd titled Bond Back In Action. Thanks for posting this wonderful trip down Bond memory lane.

The way in which Sean Connery utters the signature dialogue : " My name is Bond... James Bond" is unparalleled. No one can touch the beauty of his voice. He is Bond. He was Bond.

He's just the first Bond. Dalton is actually better than him.

To my mind, the best 007 soundtrack. The entire score has a dark, foreboding feel to it.

Beautiful. John Barry Oscar-winning music/songwriter whose legendary catalogue includes James Bond's and the list goes on & on.... Genius !

John Barry's first soundtrack for James Bond. The beginning of great musical experiences he has given us. He later said he thought his first Bond soundtracks were a bit too bombastic because he wanted to prove himself so badly. In the later Bond soundtracks he relaxed a bit more. Most people who worked on this movie are dead. This soundtrack is 60 years old now. It remains epic. The exoticism of Turkey can clearly be heard as well as the thrill of the Cold War. Most viewers of the movie couldn't see Turkey with their own eyes as most people were still too poor to make trips like this themselves. Going to a Bond movie was their travel experience.

NICE ONE !..TERRENCE . the look on KRONSTEENs face (the late VLABEK SHEYBAL ) WHEN he has just been kicked BY ROSA KLEBB! is priceless scene ....in the book BOND is kicked by KLEBB.

@@russellmay7347 Kronsteen was kicked by Blofeld. And yes, in the novel, Bond was generally accepted as having died from Klebb’s spiked shoe.
