I agree with u about the light house being being the most important but not by itself. I think the bottle trees plays a big role as well. People have been theorizing that the reason y Tabby ended up in main is because she had victors lunch box with his address in it, and I totally agree. Remember when Boyd went into the faraway 🌲 for the first time...like u said, he had earlier picked a bottle from the bottle 🌲 and it had a date on it. I think each item in the bottles represents a memory/event or time in the town. Am so excited for this new season especially the next episode because we see a bottle 🌲 at Victor's father's house and paintings in the basement of things and people in Fromville Gone Scooby Doo the hell out this season 🕵🏽😂😂

Heres a comment someone else posted and i fully believe it was the core inspirstions for the shows concept "It's Carcosa, more closely, the Dreamlands from Lovecraft and Eldrich lore. Symbol is that of Atlach Nacha, evil spider god that links dimensions. The walkers are ghouls, and Hastur is the big bad controlling the entire realm." Hastur per the original writings was know as the king in yellow. We see a painting of a man in a yellow suit. He also had a son and a daughter. Atlach nacha was a spider god that "resides in a cave system and it spins a great web, forming a great bridge between the Dreamlands and the waking world."

Victor's parents names: Miranda and Henry. Dorothy's in Wiz of OZ parents names: Auntie "M" and Uncle Henry!!! Dorothy wakes up back home, in bed like Tabitha in the hospital. The priest suggests finding Victor's house in the lunch box, like Dorothy is told to find the Wizard. When Dorothy wakes up back home, like Tabitha in the hospital, she sees her friends and says, you were there, and you too. Tabitha finds Miranda's paintings of all the supernatural characters in fromville, bottle tree, and bracelet, which were all "there" in fromville... Man dressed in Yellow painting, could be a Wizard figure you find by following the YELLOW brick road.

Nadia's ghost is the dead woman haunting Elgin's dreams. I think Fatima inherited her kimonos and wears them in honor of her friend. That's why people thought they were the same person. I don't think she's an evil spirit but is trying to tell Elgin something important.

I think victor is the entity and the force in charge of this place, he knows it all and he does not even remember why or how he created this place that is why he keeps drawing trying to track his steps to understand himself and maybe have a way out cause he is not an evil person, but he is all knowing and I’m pissed how no one pays him much attention! Victor is the key

I believe Victor is not intentionally but has himself trapped in this hell he has somehow created. And the people keep coming bc he doesn't want to be alone. He accidentally created the world were they live. And other people like him may be involved intentionally or unintentionally. This entire show is about Victor and the family with the boys he is friends with. Maybe he is somehow being caused to make it all. But this show alus about Victor.

True. If we look at how the town is constructed, it looks like some buildings are there (houses, diner, school,etc), but many are not if I'm correct- like bars, shops, and other that a kid might not visit or remember. It's almost like the down is constructed in the view of a child, with buildings that a child might visit being there and those less likely for a child to be around ommited.

But there are a lot of clues that date back further than victor. The tower itself has been there since at least 1501. The old soldiers from colonial times that jade sees, all the entities that are very old. Victor is not that old. He may be a reason for the presence of the town and the vibe of it. But the intentions of the monsters have nothing to do with Victor.

You say and spell it FARWAY trees, but Victor surely says, as I hear it "FAR-A-WAY Tree". Everyone says itis FARWAY Tree, but I do wonder why Victor says FAR-A-WAY TREE? THe latter makes sense to me, as it takes you 'far away' from where you are, not far way.

I made a post above about a guys theory or at least where the shows creators got inspiration for. But his idea for alot of it is that its based on Lovecraftian horror. The spider is based on Atlach-Nacha. An evil spider god that " spins a great web, forming a great bridge between the Dreamlands and the waking world." Alot of what the guy mentioned (when I read up on the original stories and concepts) fit the core of the show.
