You only took the scene when Victor told Ethan that the farway trees can take someone to any place. But Victor also told Tabitha that this farway Bottle Tree in particular was special, and it takes to the Lighthouse. So it isn't that simple, and you're missing something. Maybe the the farway Bottle Tree only takes the Chosen one to the Lighthouse. The point is this tree is actually special but is not meant to be use by anyone in any situation, like you have to be allowed to use it, and the Boy in White has a lot to do with it.

I think the numbers in the bottles are coordinates that program the Farway tre's destination -and taking down a bunch messed up where the tree would send someone - sending Dale into the pool wall instead of the lighthouse. They deprogrammed the tree. The clothes in Colony House's basement are from the mid-80's so that means people were back in Fromville since at least 1985. That means Victor was alone for five years, tops. Still a crazy long time to be dodging monsters if the monsters were active at night during that time. I think the Polaroid of Julie will show her as a smiling monster.

I really enjoyed it. Went by fast. I don't get so many people hating on the show, it's fine. Dale ofc died, thought he was squished under than car, what happened was even more brutal! But it was actually almost word for word foreshadowed from earlier, where victir said that you could end up inside a mountainside. Maybe Jim messing with the tree changed where it would put people. Broke it. The numbers might be.. Co ordinates? Postal numbers? No idea. I'm fully team boyd. Tabitha is clever- and manipulative. Being caught in the act, she tells him the less bad thing she's doing, covering over herself. Not a good sign at all.

The faraway trees are not a From invention. They are a group of novels where a tree takes you to another land and you have to get back to the tree or else youll be stuck. The faraway tree novels are in turn inspired by ygradsille, the world tree in norse mythology which allowes passage to the other realms. Maybe its going to be relavent? Maybe the trees can transport you to other realms or times, one already arguably transported boyd to the past. I think that Tabitha did see a date and that they can or will use the trees to time travel to the dates in the bottles to learn more about the town.

Not gonna lie I cracked up when I saw Dale stuck in that damn concrete lmao....he was so arrogant when he jumped in that tree I think we all knew he was going to end up dying. I really had hoped Boyd was going to have to shoot Dale so the ending could be just a bit darker. And I love the way Boyd parented the shit outta Ellis in this episode asking him who he was willing to sacrifice. As far as the meeting goes, it's easy to say they would have contacted the Police or someone else out in the real world, if that's even where Tabitha went. The paramedics and officer Acosta did not believe her, it was difficult to tell if the priest believed her, and Henry initially did not believe her until she mentioned the tower I believe. So no one out there would have believed her anyway and they forget they didn't believe Boyd or Donna or Father Khatri or whoever greeted them when they arrived in Fromville so they can all get off their high horses.

There won't be answers to all the questions at the end of the series because the writers themselves don't even have the answers. They've written themselves to a corner they can't get themselves out of..... creating mysteries without thinking of the explanation to those mysteries at the end. I'll just keep watching because I'm enjoying the series and I want to see how they will escape, if any actually does escape for real at the end. As for the answers to the mysteries...I know for sure that the writers have already confused themselves.

Writers sure know how to stall. Dale front and center to distract from anything meaningful. Nice reunion, but Victor is now distracted even more. It's almost like this ahow has no direction at all. Is Boyd's plan to capture "one of those things" out the window? At least Dale had the courage to try and get out.

Look at all the new green healthy plants growing in the greenhouse! From provides after people suffer and die. There was nothing around the cabins before Tien was killed- he specifically said he was searching the area. Then there's all these crops of vegetables right there- more than five people can bring back to town in one haul. As to the roots and Trees, it seems to be a countdown made by the trees moving. A countdown to whatever massacre Victor lived through. But why was a version of the symptom the computer monitor in Tabitha's room.

Hey! Don't say none of us expected Dale's demise. When I saw the preview for this episode last week, I came away thinking that Dale will walk into a farway tree and die in the pool. They never showed that, but for some reason I thought I saw that. My mind must have filled in the missing pieces, but incorrectly, so that I had been thinking all week that Dale would walk through a farway tree then fall to his death from high up onto the vehicle in the pool. Either way, I mistakenly thought we all expected Dale's death last night.
