There kind of stuck with something supernatural. Wouldn’t mind a mix of real and supernatural like how the cabin in the woods went. Like it is supernatural but we’ve known about it for a while and the government just keeps it secret trying to figure it out too. Idk.

Time 0:53, I wouldn't say the talismans make it so the monsters "can't" get in, I would say more generally that when the talisman is properly posted, the monsters "don't" go in. WE as yet do not know the mechanism.

I just binged the 1st 3 episodes and I want to go on the record and say "They have absolutely no clue how to finish this show". when they made Season 1 they had no clue it would be so successful. Originally there was no plan for Season 2 or 3. then they came back together. Now they are winging it. They are going to raise 1000 more questions without ever answering the previous ones just to keep it going for as long as possible I absolutely 100% promise you they are going to either A. just end the show when the ratings drop off, or ... B GOT Season 8 TF out of it... Dont say i didnt warn you
