SEASON ONE RATING: 10/10 They made something original and addictive to watch. The mysteries make you want- no, NEED to talk about it with friends and family. I personally have gotten three people rabidly hooked on From! I'm sure each of them got people hooked as well. Gotta grow the Fromily.

Your videos are life savers as far as pointing things out that I wouldn’t have thought to notice before. Also, saves me a potential second (or third watch in the case of DARK) and you’re always bringing the same energy. Cheers bro

It's definitely frustrating. How many of the problems or mysteries of the show might be resolved if the characters stopped keeping everything to themselves? I'm only just starting season 2, but I hope at some point they have a discussion and it become standard policy "if you see or hear something weird, tell us. Everyone".

@@alanbland1976The fact that the teleporting trees aren't common knowledge and that the monsters live beneath them inside catacombs is driving me insane. Also the townspeople not investigating the hallucinations, dreams, and nightmares people have.
@jasoncaldwell56274 ай бұрын
As to the Quota theory - YES. In season one, we see everyone at the Choosing Ceremony and the headcount was fifty. When you ccount all the losses from Colony House, suicide and Father Kathri, they're all exactly replaced by people from the tour bus. (Once you account for the people from the bus that the monsters kill). There also appears to be positions in town that are maintained. Sarah's brother was killed and he was the town's farmer- watching the livestock and crops. He died and, on the bus we got Brian who expressly says "I grew up on a FARM, remember?" Unfortunately, Brian and his girlfriend Kelly both got tricked into opening the door of the barn and Kelly got a metal rod rammed through her skull while Brian was killed in front of her. Now that there's no farmer, the crops are all dying and the livestock are being targeted by the monsters. Also Jade seems to be taking on the position of Town Barkeep since the last one was killed. He's even offering up sage advice to patrons (the bus driver Bacta).

Well 14 people died in colony massacre and plus father K makes 15, before that the nurse, Kenny's dad, and tobby were unalived. That makes 18 but the bus only had 25 and then 22 after the first night

Maybe I've seen too many paranormal shows, but I think the show might actually be a dimension of where portals located around the country take you to. This village was actually discovered by Victors' dad, and it contained creatures that he was studying. He moved his family there where they lived before everything went wrong and Victor's dad got out, but the rest were stuck in there. I think the show title might also be an acronym for something else. Fragmented Remnants Of Minds. I know I'm reaching.

You've said that the answers lie with Ethan, and I agree. I keep worrying that we will find out that this whole thing will have been in Ethan's imagination. The snowglobe made my fear even worse. Have you seen St. Elsewhere? It's one of the most notorious finales to any TV series since the 80s. One of the characters has a son who has autism. He shakes a snowglobe at the end of the show with the hospital inside and it is believed that the whole show was just that kid's imagination. 😬 Hopefully, the writers are just kidding around with us and giving a nod to that series or something.

My theory about the monsters or the place knowing about everyone and the lights flickering is the communication abilities of the trees. I feel like the trees communicate more with each and monsters than the ppl of the lol I feel like somehow whenever there is light in the house then the town or trees are listening and the people are being spied on. If there is no cable in the wires thing this is what makes me think this since the cable goes into the ground under house which the trees are obv connected to the ground as well

I think the title is about where the ancestors of the residents are "from," because I think the atrocities in American History gave birth to the town's evil.

I thought that was weird too. Dumb Dumb Kevin also had his tongue bitten off. I wonder if those who die there are able to talk to the ones still trapped there so taking their tongues silences them forever maybe? Maybe that's happened to the Boy in White too- which makes it harder for him to communicate with the chosen few unless they have telepathic capabilities.

I feel like there are multiple forces at work fr9m the greater evil (which I believe has a hive mind with the monsters), maybe the trees independant of that including the boy/children and the dogs, and either that's the same neutral force on the phone and providing power or that's another force supplying and monitoring the town to study everything, is the boy in white the force for good? Is that the trees as well? Are there dynamics from all these forces within the tree community as well? So intrigued!

Something else that bugs me is how the folks started tripping when the bus full of people came as if they were going to be running out of food that much faster. However if you do the math with Father Katri dying and about 14 or so deaths from colony plus Tom’s death that made a bunch of spots to be filled. There was 25 folks that came on the bus and about 8 of them give or take, got killed then only 1 extra person would need to be compensated for with the new arrivals. So outside of the food starting to spoil there was no real need for the people to start to panic about the food ! It was a fake issue prior to the food starting to spoil and the crops not being able to be sustained just saying

With Abby and other ghosts and phone and radio i think they are neither evil or good, neither helpful nor hurtful... like in a video game that builds reputation there are pathways and consequence or reward with every choice and these spirit entities merely enlighten the "player" as to their options while helping them reason their impulses or decisions but not pushing them to a destined end. If they are part of the evil force then they are playing chess with them by power of suggestion and likely theres a trick in anything they say.

Not sure that really adds up. Why drag the tent into a nest of spiders? Why throw the rope only to deal with the evil entity?
@midnight-Rebel754 ай бұрын
@@EmansReviews Cause it's like you were saying that the boy in white takes some people to dangerous places and not necessarily to kill them, but possibly show them how to escape, hence the reason why they got dragged to be able to see the lighthouse, which is how Tabitha escaped. Even though they stumbled upon the web site location with the spiders. Which I think they were going in the wrong direction possibly.
