Jade forgot to tell Tabitha about the vision he had with the ventriloquist dummy- which is too bad, since Tabby had definitely seen that when Victor flipped out after seeing it in the tunnels. As to Smiley monster, he wasn't as inhuman as the monsters that killed the guy in the box in episode 3 or the one that slashed Father Kathri's throat in episode 7. The notion of "too many new people" being too many to feed- that's bull. Colony House lost 14 people in episode 7 and Father Kathri made 15. There's one guy that hung himself in episode 9. So, sixteen dead before the bus shows up. There's 25 on the bus, but we saw the monsters kill the two outside the post office, the two elderly people that Smiley killed on the bus, the couple that were in the Gas Station/bar, the guy that died of internal injuries buried by Jim's house and lastly, the bartender guy. That's eight dead the first night the bus was there- leaving 17 from the bus That's only ONE more mouth to feed than the town had before the Colony House massacre. They should be more worried about freezing to death than starving. We've never seen anyone chopping wood...heck, they might get real backlash for cutting down trees. I think Jade is just wearing Tom's clothes...but I DO think there are roles. They went WAY out of their way in episode 1 of season 2 for the guy that was hiding in the bar to say "I grew up on a FARM, remember?" But that farmer dude ain't going to replacing Sarah's brother after all since he was killed off-screen. The thing drowning Elgin at the end is probably his dead grandma. Maybe he killed his grandma to spare her from some painful disease? Maybe he just hated the damn owls. No Sarah again this episode. Huh. The monsters don't eat anyone - but they remove the tongue and heart (as the Voices told Sarah to match when she murdered Toby. Even the Jasmine Monster spit out Pornstache's tongue.

Thanks! I'm just passionate about this crazy show- I've got my sisters and best friend hooked on it too- just so I can throw ideas at them. Some more crazy ideas: I think the townsfolk need to get together to compare notes- like where and WHEN they got trapped in town. Tilly....oh man, she's SO SUS. She couldn't say what bush like she got on? Or where exactly she was headed besides "The horse race track". That sounds like a poorly made cover story. The cars that Victor moved aren't real makes and models. At least not to our world. When we see the car yard in episode six, I can't ID any of those cars- can you guys? I didn't see any brand logos either. Jim is losing his mind. Teaming up with Randall isn't going to help. Everyone needs to see the dead monster. The more secrets this little group keeps, the worse things will get in town. Smiley Monster is visibly different than Jasmine was. Different than the monsters that killed the guy in the box too...those things had no clothes on either. Are there monsters without human forms?

There's a theory that Elgin is the grandson of Fatima and Ellis and grandma Fatima told young Elgin the story about the town and how she escaped (which is the thing he can't remember).

Just wanted to you guys to follow me on this about the dead body that was holding Elgin under water. I think Elgin can see the future. I mean, 1: when he woke up on the bus. He screamed & wanted the bus to stop or go back. 2: In this ep.: He kept saying their something he had to remember, referring to his dream. 3: When @eman mentions Hawaiian shirt on the zombie looking. I think Fatima is that zombie looking figure. When she talked to Donna, she had a flower looking shirt. Plus, long black hair. All this to say that Elgin already knows how it will end. I think the music box helps them. when boyd saw music box the ballerina was showing him what to do with the worms. When kristi girlfriend saw music box it showed smiley which could be warning her that smiley will wake up soon. and the music could be giving elgin a near death experience to force him to remember what he forgot

Saw that From is like an episode of supernatural where Sam/dean went looking for missing people and ended up in a town and had to burn a 🌲 to break the curse. Bile, water, fire were all used against witches. Magic is definitely used here. Also looks like Kenny was right about bringing smiley in the clinic by next week’s preview about the basement!

I don’t think he was aged up. I think he’s just stuck in that state from the trauma he went through as a child and also never having the right environment to grow up. It would make sense that he’s like that after all this time and everything he’s seen. However I do question why he’s been alive this long. There’s definitely more to discover there.

If the worms make you age quicker, that would explain Boyd experiencing Dementia which normally happens a lot later. The aging process may cause immediate death with the monsters but other symptoms with regular people. Perhaps Victor is much younger than we think, and explains him hanging out with Ethan

The monster at the end that was holding down eldrin , is the BALORINA!!! But in her monster form. Remember the forest monsters was just throwing "tip of the spear" the tailsmans don't stop the dancing woman from entering people's dreams. Yes I will say next week that we will find out that eldrin just fell asleep in the tub which made him see the dancing woman ,but in monster form. Now that is two people besides Boyd who has seen the dancing woman. That's who was drowning eldrin in the tub. She's the level 2 monster lol

I believe the Bile that they recovered from the Tunnel Monster will be used as a weapon against them. I believe that the liquid manifests itself as worms, but aren't actually worms. I believe the Blood Boyd received is actually related to the Bile substance and that Boyd is holding a powerful weapon that manifests itself as a force against the creatures.

Huge theory: In ep 5 "lullaby," if you listen closely to the beginning when "Chris not Evans" is on the bus spending the night, one of the people monsters is singing a lullaby as the episode title says but its not just any lullaby it's the "Are you sleeping... brother john.." so I'm almost 100% sure this show has something to do with someone having a dream of some sort, or something similar to what boyd experienced in ep.6 when he thought he went to the church and had a dance with the evil ballerina. 🤔 As far as everyone starting to have these visions it's either contagious to whoever was close to boyd or Ellis after him receiving blood, don't think Ellis experienced anything "yet"..but I'm sure they all will at some point. Either that or in death the people monsters haunt peoples dreams or minds. Evil lady at the end definitely looks like Fatima!😮 Edit: Definitely feel like Donna is in on whatever is going on if this is not the dream theory she just seems odd to me, almost like she's comfortable and doesn't want to leave the place or want anyone to, I mean she laughed in Fatimas face when she said she was pregnant and thought it could be a trick shes on the optimistic side of the tracks when things are bad and pessimistic when things are good, and thoughts are brought up about finding a way out. 🧐 Her and the older lady that was on the bus "tilly" she also seems a little suspect. She seems too nonchalant about everything yes she has a terminal illness but the exit light did not need to flicker in that episode when she came in the hospital if she's so innocent 🤨😳🧐 I sense a little foreshadowing could be nothing though. Probably unpopular opinion but Bile won't work that's just nasty😩 lol

I have a theory - I think that Elgin's probable death and the killing of the smile monster are linked. We've seen that this place likes to maintain equilibrium. For example, when 14 people die at colony house, the bus of new people immediately shows up. When the family dies in S1 E1, the Matthews family shows up. What if the same state if equilibrium applies to the number of monsters in the town? In S1 E6, we heard the monster, Jasmine say that it "wasn't her choice to be this way". Kristi confirmed in the monster autopsy that the monster was once a human. So, now that the townspeople have killed it, a new monster needs to take its place. I think that Elgin will "wake up" down in the caves, realizing that he is dead and has been turned into a monster. He will then try to leverage his relationship with Julie to try to gain entry into the Liu home or Colony House, but another character with more sense (maybe Fatima or Tabitha) will realize that something is off because the other monsters are not pursuing Elgin. I’ll take it one step further to say that maybe in previous cycles, the townspeople figured out how to kill the monsters and that’s what led Christopher to wipe out all the townspeople, except Victor. In that case, the symbol could imply the need for the town to maintain that state of equilibrium, like a f***ed up yin-yang. When Christopher killed all those people, he created new monsters, including Victor’s parents who became the monster couple who taunted Fatima at the window earlier this season. Perhaps that is why Victor is so messed up and longs for memories of his mother - he has to see her walking around as a monster at night. This is where the puzzle pieces take me so far. I’m probably wrong cause this show is crazy, but we’ll see!

As for what turns the people into monsters, we don't know. It could be the worm ballerina. Why Elgin? Because if the zombie thing drowning him is not a vision, then he may die by next episode. But it seems clear that he's a key character in the story line, which leads me to think that he would re-emerge as a monster if his character were to die.

Kenny is a punk with a gun which he needs to give up. Why didn’t they check the brain in that autopsy, that’s what I was waiting for. Was that Fatima trying to drown Elgin 🤔😮 , it had on same kimono. Also at the 24 minute mark when Ellis and Fatima was talking , notice the picture on the wall of possible Fatima in human and monster form 🤔maybe I’m tripping 😂😂😂. Dale need to go in the box.

The autopsy scene got me thinking when Victor said the cars were there already when he got there. Do the symbols make the people in those cars monsters can one of the monsters be victors mom. I didn’t even think about it until you said it, Victor does always wear long sleeves and he was not surprised seeing Boyd’s worms.

I'm frustrated with the show just like how everybody else are but i think the reason why we all are frustrated with the pace and lack of answers is because we want and expect this series to end quickly and just go all out episode after episode but i think the writers are trying to be realistic by building story lines for almost each character and step by step leading to that big go all out episode after episode that we all want

Yes Eman. I did notice Jade had changed clothes to very similar as Tom ASWELL as Jade's attitude had become more Tom like. He said that he accepted that this was a place where bad stuff happens without reason. That to me was very unlike the original Jade. I had also noticed and said that Bakta and Donna were both alpha women. It'll be interesting to see how that places out. I wonder if the cicadas fed on Smiley and dried him up and that led to his death. Cicadas, in their adult stage, feed on only plant fluid normally....of course, nothing is normal in this town. In some cases, we've established time seems to move a bit differently here and I wonder if the larvae grew quickly, sucked old Smiley's fluids dry and killed him basically on the spot almost. Now I am pondering if the others are dry or if they can be fed on as they feed on others. But if they are not dry already, I wonder why the cicadas would leave bile behind? Hmmm....They could also already be dried up inside but only need bile to digest, since they do eat human organs. The cicadas seem to have had the opposite effect on Martin though, slowly chipping away at him, but swiftly destroying Smiley. I definitely don't think Victor has the worms, but he did seem to recognize them and he did not seem surprised. Victor has been in this place for probably 40 years or more and has likely lived through different cycles or phases of this place. He may very well have seen this happen before to another resident that has come and gone.

Yeah I get both perspectives. Like I think it's risky, but to an extent it's worth doing an autopsy to potentially gain answers. That's being said, Kenny is right, you know nothing about these worms, so you just tread carefully.. But the biggest concern, maybe Christie, the town doctor shouldn't be the one to do the autopsy, losing her would be the biggest concern.

So what I know of mythology: There is a Storm God, usually named a varient of Baal. Bael, Able...etc. There are the 3 Fates, young maiden, mother, and crone. There are witches. There's even a beast: Randall. (Also the name of the beast in the Stand, arguably Steven Kings best book.) There are healer gods. Underworld and Otherworld Gods. I noticed the place had no Bibles, and the preacher sure did die quick. But there are still prophets and prophecies. And there are trickster gods everywhere. You got magical portals. Talismans. Weapons. Tools. Trinkets. Maps. Recipes. Spells, monsters. And a whole bunch more. Let me just point out something I noticed about the doggos. If you put humans in a place with dogs, they are going to hook up. Man's best friend and all of that. These dogs should be happily dogging it up south the hoomans. But, no. They only show up to herd people. They are psychopomps, having humans follow them, or standing there yelling at them for distracting purpose. These dogs are not your average dog. AND... When we think of Otherworlds, the fairies and there mounds, specifically, there lands, there mounds are alive. The hills have eyes. And wills of there own. The place can be angry, yes. It's where the idea of the haunted house came from.

A lot of people think the old lady from the bus is a red herring, but I think she's suspect. I don't think there's a plant. If anything, Randall insinuated that to get them to turn on each other, whether he's working for "them" or just an asshole. It honestly kinda feels like a sim game the master decided to start turning the difficulty up on sometimes. I think Smiley being left in the basement is a terrible idea. I think he's either going to come back to life or others are going to be able to get in, because he's in it. Someone on reddit mapped out the timeline, so far each season's been about a week. Ethan was walking without a limp within 5 days. Ellis is up and walking right after being stabbed. Boyd's beard is quickly going white. Some people have theorized Victor hasn't really been there that long... As well as that Fatima's pregnancy is going to be short. As if things are sped up. Some people think Elgin is Ellis and Fatima's kid too... I see no REAL signs of timey wimey shit BUT if Ellis and Fatima were to decide to name their kid AFTER Elgin... Saving Ellis' life would be a good enough reason to do so. It's a sims video game, with a god-like character that can change properties and give or take at will. Also, the worms didn't let Martin die. That was the torture.

I don't think the worms ever left Boyd. I think the bile will be useless, but will lead to finding out the worms are still there. I think the way out has to be done at night, which is why the creatures come out to defend, and that way out is by water. Water has to go somewhere, and can't be controlled like the road. We already know water is important in the story... Ultimately Victor will not leave the town. Victor does not want to leave as they would, only because he didn't live a long life outside of the town. Ok Blood magic. The following are not my words, but I agree with it all. This is blood magic within a genre. "I'm gonna assume you mean blood magic as a general theme, so I will comment with that context in mind. Blood Magic can be a wide variety of different things depending on setting and system. (Stories, games, what have you.) The first type I'll go with is Blood Manipulation. It is most commonly the act of being able to reach into the body of others or yourself and controlling the blood within them, therefore greatly influencing their actions. Often times, this is a subset of water or body magic. In a few settings, blood can be pulled out of your body and be weaponized in different ways, such as creating a blade, talisman or shot at great speeds. The most famous examples of Blood Manipulation are \-Blood Bending from ALTA \-Branch of Sin from Deadman Wonderland Often times, blood is synonymous with life force and therefore the manipulation of it would be considered necromancy (which is manipulation of life and death). In many settings, people can use blood to fortify their lives or sour the life force of others to cause disease. If you want to go down the necromantic route, I'd recommend looking at the Necromancy Skill Tree from Divinity 2, as it has a lot of interesting abilities that you could take inspiration from. Sometimes, blood isn't the main part of the magic and is simply an ingredient or a cost to conduct a different form of magic. A really common example is sacrificing your blood for some form of ritual, especially when summoning a demon or spirit. Maybe the act of using your blood specifically binds you to the creature you summoned and the more you sacrificed, the more control you have over said creature. The magic doesn't have to be spiritual in nature, another example is from the anime "Darker than Black" from the character Wei Zhijun, he has the ability to effectively delete large amounts of material so long as it is sufficiently covered in his blood. Hopefully this helped a little bit."

So i have a lot of different theories. 1. Elgin is fatimas son. It's why he has visions and why fatima is the one trying to drown him (maybe a sign of batism) in the tub. He also asked fatima about a body of water. He might be a prophet type of character. That's why Victor doesn't like him because Victor is the mole. Victor might not want to leave the town. Elgin could be the one to lead the people out on boyds' boat like a noah type of character. 2. Martin was dried out, and so were the monsters, and so was fatima in that vision. The worms are probably what preserve humans so that they can be mummified and turn into the monsters. 3. Elgin is a sleeper agent and actually bad. There was a black arrow pointing to him while he was sleeping in the back of Victor's truck. That's why Victor doesn't like him.
