FROM unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. If we are basing this off of what Ethan has been saying...I went back to the very 1st episode when Julie was telling a story about Norman being killed by monsters. Tabitha told Ethan that it was good news that the monsters killed Norman because the monsters dont really exist. which meant Norman is still alive. I think now that they are all being experimented on and this is some kind of Truman Show/ Matrix ordeal. Im going to start over with the series and see if I find anything else.

Maybe the fallen tree IS a Faraway Tree- and removing it from the road would allow escape? I really need to see a flashback or something where someone says "screw it, I'm walking down the road." Would they just loop back, like the cars? Eaten by crows? Who knows?

I like a good mystery and i'm ok with some things not being given an answer right now BUT this show needs to start answering some of the questions already instead of creating new mysteries all the time. From has a lot of potential, it's my favorite show right now and i don't want it to end up like Lost.

So, the radio is like the chorus in church. In a Greek play. In life. It's the narrator, the bard. The pronunciation of the Fates... Aeschylus, the famous tragedian, gave an account in his Prometheus Bound where the Moirai were called the helmsman of the goddess Ananke along with the three Erinyes: "And there were another three who sat round about at equal intervals, each one on her throne, the Moirai (Moirae, Fates), daughters of Ananke, clad in white vestments with filleted heads, Lakhesis (Lachesis), and Klotho (Clotho), and Atropos (Atropus), who sang in unison with the music of the Seirenes, Lakhesis singing the things that were, Klotho the things that are, and Atropos the things that are to be . . . Lakhesis, the maiden daughter of Ananke (Necessity)..." Remember, Ananke is the Great Primirdial Mother God. Inevitably. Old age. Death. An old woman who is dying or close to death. So far, I know Fatima is one of the Fates. It's in the name. That one is easy. The fates are usually happy and carefree because they understand the Inevitably of fate, and death. They just accept it because theirs nothing else to be done about it. In all liklihood, they're will be 3 godesses representing fate. A maiden, a mother, a crone. But the above poems also reference Sirens. Many people think sirens are mermaids. They aren't. Sirens are BIRDS that sing songs that lure men to they're death. That is a trickster lady. The Primordial Mother Goddess of all. In order to get where you want to be, you gotta go through her. And that's always going to be a fight. Unless you can find a way around, over, or under her. As the famous Bard, Rodney Adkins might say, "If you're goin' through hell keep on going Don't slow down if you're scared don't show it You might get out before the devil even knows you're there."

Julie’s choice to live in Covenant House makes even more sense in light of her parents’ pending divorce and the recent death of her baby brother. When parents are emotionally and/or physically unavailable and are preoccupied with their own troubles, their children suffer. Often the oldest sibling, particularly with girls, becomes the parental figure for the younger siblings which is very burdensome. We’ve seen this over and over with Julie. Her parents have sent her to care for Ethan several times when they couldn’t or didn’t want to. Julie joined with her parents when making the weird sounds related to Ethan’s favorite book. I believe that (consciously or unconsciously) Julie took advantage of the opportunity to shed or minimize her responsibility of parenting Ethan by living separately from her family.

I've gone back to watching season 1 while watching season 2 and it's fascinating to see how we got here so far. However, I think they really need to go back even further and find out... from Victor perspective how this came to be. Was it like this before him? I thought it was. So we need an EP or 2 about Victor as a kid and other people during that time imo No present characters. Just from the past

Hey all so I think I have figured out something major and wanted to share. If doesn't answer all things but I believe I have figured out what the monsters are. Sluagh. A creature of Irish folklore, do a Google search. A lot more makes sense if you read the lore and then try to interpret the situation as a modern take on a monster from old Irish folklore. I think it explains a lot, the monsters, where they are, travel through trees, the runic talismans and much much more. What do y'all think?

Something they need to clear up because it's a big plot hole. The cave with the talismans had an opening but the monsters didn't go in and get Boyd, yet an open window or door and they get in the houses.

Perhaps the Boy in white chose Victor to survive from that older group of Townes people and pass on knowledge. This series reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters are on Maple Street" , I think whoever is behind the phenomenon of the town is like the Martian in that episode.

FROM Season 2 just released in the UK. I’ve been waiting patiently. I just started episode 4 and I just have so many questions. Will any of these questions be answered? Or will I end the season equally confused. I’m about to go watch your reviews for the 1st 3 episodes

Trees in mythology are like a natural Tower. They are obviously portals. In mythology, the 1st woman and 1st man can "hide" in them for safety at the end of the world type of battle such as Ragnarok or Armageddon. They basically denote sacred safe spaces and they are focusing objects that magic flows through. Houses, towers, brooms, wands, gardens (like eden). In Game of Thrones, Bran and Meera and Summer hide in a tree for a whole season. The whole of Norse Mythology is a World tree, a universe with 9 realms. And the trees are safe havens. Baldr ( the bright, the son of Oden ) hides in Hel, a realm in a tree. He resurrects. Jesus is a Carpenter, he is a woodworker. Trees always get struck by lightning, the fire of the gods. Lighthouses are towers with light at the top, and an alternate symbol would be a burning bush. Same exact symbolism. Son/sun (Apollo, Jesus, Baldr, Dyonysus, Zagreus, etc) gods and dark seer witches (wise men, like Oden, Merlin or wise women like Morgana/Morrighan) are big wood weilders, and they are also associated with dark birds like Ravans/Eagles and Dogs. Usually the dogs are a symbol of coming death or a guardian, like the spiders. If the dogs are guardians, they are trying to scare people away from leaving the underworld. The will let anyone in, but they dont like to let anyone out. When the dogs show up, someone is close to escaping. Or, they are about to die.

The show is really similar to LOST... I only watched the first two seasons, but i've been watching a full recap of the entire show and damn... Mythical stuff, symbols, the side of good and evil, the misterious stuff, the island (Victor's drawing) the producers being the same as LOST 😅.. I could see this turn out to end like LOST

I find something unnerving about Fatima. She’s so incredibly nice, nurturing and seemly centered, almost too much. I wonder if there’s something else going on underneath her mask. I also got vibes of a future love triangle between Fatima, Julie and Ellis, especially with Julie sleeping in Fatima’s and Ellis’ room. Maybe that will reveal another side of Fatima? I don’t recall whether Julie’s age has been revealed. If she’s 18 or about to turn 18 a love triangle could be possible without statutory rape being an issue.
