Hello #From Fans!
The season 2 Finale is here and WTF does it all mean??? I have a few theories and dove into some theories based on evidence in the show and observations from S1. of course, I'm sad to see the season end, I'm excited because I know it's not the end...there's still tons of mysteries to solve and a according to Harold Perrineau's twitter..."They have a lot more store to tell and weird road to take us on!

On one hand there was this evil entity communicating through Sara, which is the same one manipulating Boyd through his wife's visions and laughing at Boyd for bringing this thing, this new terror into town in his blood, and releasing it when he passed the larvae to Smiley. This thing represented by the cicadas got excited when it touched Kenny's arm (not Boyd's arm). The nurse's rhyme is about it. Its goal was to transform the 3 hosts and use them to materialize and "stay" so that it could physically harm people (touch them, break them, and steal their lives). This thing used Boyd as a carrier, as a vessel, and it was a different entity than the one talking to Sara in the woods.

@@thinkersthink- It's an evil entity higher-hierarchy than the Night Walker monsters we know. We haven't seen it yet, but it's the one that told Sara to kill those people in S1, threw Boyd the rope and controlled Martin from the moment the music started playing in the Dangeon, tried to manipulate Boyd through Father Khatri's and Abby's visions to convince him to give up, and communicated through Sara at the chamber ruins in the woods. It's a different entity than the boy in white.

@@nicocba2007 so do you think the boy is white, is good or bad, and this evil entity that told Sara, to kill the boy, came in the illusion of abby and father K., so that would mean we have seen the monster just not in its purest form, but is that due to it only being a entity or can it shape shift.. Boy in white / voices in Sara head vision of abby etc... different entity, what about worms in Martin, voices inside Sara head, vision of abby etc..because if those two are the same entity, we have seen it in its purest form, worms / cicadas ... if so. so do you believe the worms and the voices/ visions of abby is the entity???

@@thinkersthink- the answer to most of all those questions is already in my comment. I suggest you read the transcript of Sara and Boyd's dialog in the woods, it'll help you understand it better. As for the Boy in White, I still can't tell if he's good or bad. Once we see what happens to Tabitha, maybe we'll be in position to judge this "boy".

i think you are confusing yourself imo, the voices in Sara head, is the same entity Boyd bought back to town,that's why's Sara states, it got so happy when you bought it back to town, if in fact that's true, you have seen this entity already...

Omg you made a light bulb go on in my head regarding Boyd in the church! Right when he demanded an answer from God, Donna walked in, and what did she do? She encouraged him to go to his son's wedding, where his son said a phrase (about light in the darkness) that gave Boyd the answer he was seeking, the epiphany that he needed - he had to go get the torch and light it at the site of the ruins where the dungeon was. He got his answer! And the awesome thing about it is that it shows his character growth from when he first arrived in town, as we saw in flashbacks. He was so obsessed with trying to help the whole town, like with his forest expeditions, that he neglected his family and didn't see that his wife was losing her mind until it was too late. This time, even when presented with what appeared to be impending doom for the town, he temporarily stepped away from his duty as their de facto leader and showed up for his family. And he was rewarded with the answer he was seeking to save everyone. The writing of this show is truly phenomenal - look at the journey that Boyd went through. In Season 1 he was still Mr. Fish 'n Loaves, insistent on being the town's fearless leader but having a fractured relationship with his son. He thought he had this place figured out and could maintain everyone's safety. Then this evil entity spent all of Season 2 trying to break him, throwing him curve balls he never anticipated, testing his sanity, threatening the whole town, and making him question reality. But in the end he realized what was most important, he was there for his family, got the clarity he needed, and then he was able to save the town including the 3 catatonic residents. Just brilliant.

The COMPLETE "blood circle" design from the book is a logo on the computer screen in Tabitha's room. The reflection in the window doesn't appear to be Tabitha's. Maybe Tabitha is really the woman that wrote Flight Of The Cromanacle? I think the Bottle Tree holds evil spirits in each bottle- and Boyd took one down and opened it up at the end of Season One- which freaks Sarah the heck out. There was a date on the paper inside the bottle. That's what Sarah meant by "It's laughing at you- it's happy you brought it back to town".

I think that this is a game between two forces(entities), one good, one bad. It is a test of humanity. The good one is trying to lead "broken" people back to their humanity, the bad one is trying to make them give up on their humanity. (Almost everyone brought to the town has suffered some trauma or life event right before being brought to the town) Each uses "tools" to accomplish this, good - the boy in white, the dogs, the visions....bad - the monsters, the spiders, worms and cicadas, bad visions. Fear and hope give each of the entities power. If fear wins, everyone in the town dies and the game starts over with fresh people, which is why numbers are replenished when people die in town. If hope wins, they follow the "clues" to get out of the town. Each person has to follow their own "clues" to get out. Once they conquer their fear and accept their humanity, they can leave (Tabitha realizing that she has to save the children by any means necessary). The lighthouse is not the only way out of the town. If Boyd had killed Martin in the dungeon, i think he would have found his way out as well. I think the message "Kill the boy" was meant for Victor since he was the only remaining survivor of the last round of the game. Once he dies, the town resets and it is unable to do so as long as he is alive. I do think Tabitha finds someone in the real world that escaped, mainly Eloise, maybe more people but thats a season 3 problem. Just part of my theory

First off, I love the channel and I definitely agree with most of ur theories… That after show live stream yalll did the other night was off the hook. Phil asked one of my questions, I finally was gonna hear what all 4 of you thought. (My question was; in the drawing of the BIW, does his mouth look like a crow or am I bugging?) Thanks man. Yeah the after show live was DOPE! I try to bring that content over to youtube because it goes away on IG and lasts forever over here. The drawings do mean something. I spent all S1 breaking down VIctor's drawings and the painting in Ellis's room and really nothing came out of them except the symbol and Victor did draw that. The boy does have a weird look and face all together and just maybe how he looks...lol. The crows or ravens can mean a lot and were still trying to figure it out because they could be tied to witches, Faires, Fae, Odin, or something else...we don't know and yeah the wait for S3 maybe longer than expected.

Ok so just listen to my theory...Victor's sister made it out, he found his mom outside the tree dead, but didn't say anything about his sister, so my thought is his sister made it to the lighthouse and got out. Just like Tabitha. So it now that she's in the town she will see Victor's adult sister who will recognize Victor's lublnchbox. & work with Tabitha to get back.

Thanks for the review and thoughts. You mentioned the creepers being shells, it was interesting that when they dissected Smiley creeper he seemed dried inside with the exception of the bile. When Boyd crushed the music box and freed the 3 chained to the wall their bodies seemed to be in a coma state elsewhere.

I think that vision of Abby was just this evil entity trying to trick Boyd. She also appeared to him in the RV when the monsters were surrounding it in episode 9, and her image was flickering in and out along with the lights like a hologram glitching. She was saying "come back to me," trying to trick him into staying there where the monsters would get to him. And in the dungeon in the finale, she was trying to trick him into not destroying the music box. He realized it wasn't really her spirit when he asked sarcastically how someone just let her drop in to chat. At the start of the season, this evil entity also tried to trick him with a vision of Ellis and the boat key at the bottom of the well saying "Dad we're taking the boat out," like it wanted to keep him down there. Or just make him question reality, because when he got back to town he was wondering if her was really in a coma with his family beside him. That obviously wasn't really Ellis talking to him, and this wasn't really Abby.

Excellent analysis! I liked how you said that the monsters’ minds might be trapped in a different place from their bodies. I was wondering how Julie, Randall, and Marie could be lying on their beds AND chained up in the tower at the same time. However, if they were turning into monsters, maybe their minds/souls would be forever trapped in the tower, while their bodies were possessed by the entity and turned into monsters. Their trapped mind/souls might provide electricity to the town while simultaneously feeding the entity with their fear/pain. Maybe the people of the town have to save all of the souls of the people that were turned into monsters in order to escape!

Great ideas but Victor's sister's body wasn't found that we know of so I think Tabitha will probably find her because Eloise will recognize the lunchbox. The gears theory is good and the boy if evil would rather get her out of the game and keeping the rest of the fuel for that reality

It seems clear to me that the evil voices, the spirits in the bottles at the Bottle Tree and the vision of Abby are all one side of whatever is happening while the Boy in White, Ballerina in White and Creepy kids in White are another. I'm certain the voices that wrote "Kill the boy" referred to the Boy In White, not Ethan.

My theories: Fromplace is where people go who are in a comma, like purgatory. This is why people from other parts of the country find themselves there, maybe by way of car accident injuries. When you die in the town, you awake from the comma. Which is why so many people are compelled to feel death is the only true escape. Those close to waking from the comma start seeing the symbol which is actually the hospital logo (see the computer screen at end). The word the children keep repeating could be the name of a doctor who experiments on children where they end up in commas. So now Tabitha could help them escape. There's so many ways this could go

And the trees don´t transport you only to other places but to other dimensions of reality in the same place. That is why the kid in white didn´t want Boyd and Sara to get into the lighthouse the first time, because there is this evil entity, but with Tabitha there was not this problem, because she get into the right tree.

Martin was definitely either the entity or working on its behalf, just look at the rope that Boyd climbed up, how the hell would Martin be able to throw or kick that down the well? Impossible. Which means Martin chained himself up after the fact or there was another person in the room before Boyd got to the top

Without going through the trees, they wouldnt have had the cicadas and almost killed many people. Smiley isnt really a threat. they are mostly useless when the town has talismans, trading smiley for the cicadas was a very bad trade from what we currently know. The silver bullets didnt seem to work, but I do think there may be more to it than what we were shown.

i find vics past very interesting .victor and Eloise two fancy names eh. and his mom plays the violin. so im guessing they were from a very well to do swanky family. this might come into prominence in season 3, in my mind Christopher is not the father but i think vics mom met him in from land and a connection happened. which his next step was to win over her children. but his experiences in fromland changed him and made him dark as vic explained. i find the question of who glued the polaroid between 2 pages of(in my mind a time map) very important.

Here is one interesting theory I read in another comments. When Julie, Mari, Randall was chained up in the prison, it’s actually their souls that chained up in there, their eyes were white/foggy and Martin before had normal eyes, it’s because his body already was dead, so he had his normal eyes…

Ok soil have watched and listened to lots of ideas and theories about this show. Myself I think it all comes down to Jade and Jim. Jade comes to town cause he just sold his computer company which he states was involving Quantum Computing. He says ' I created a whole world based off imagination' And I thunk that is what the town is. It's some type of Program that they r all in some how. That is why the monsters follow rules and people heal faster than they should. I think the person that bought Jades company is the 1 behind all this. That us why when Boyd lights the torch it pushes him into what looks like another dimension or reality. That would be the only way people all over USA keep seeing the same tree in the road.

I have a bad feeling that the show has written itself into a conundrum. If Tabitha is truly free, I dont see any reasonable way Tabotha will make it back into Fromville. Why would the supernatural force allow one specific person back, that was there previously, and risk having all others escape. It will not make sense at all if Tabitha returns to the town.

I don't think it's supernatural. If you see the hospital emblem it seems to be that the hospital is controlling this. I'm thinking it's more of a simulation or some sort of dream state.

Someone should, since I am unable to, get the name of the hospital ID bracelet as Tabitha gets out of bed, and the box to the right of the hospital emblem needs a closeup since it provide ID information. The reflection is either someone else, or Tabitha is a different person.
