Bit of a rant at the start of the video but i'm starting to feel like the show has so many different story arcs going on and just not enough time to address them all. I'm hoping that as we build towards the season finale we'll start to get some clarity! What did you think of this episode? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

this is the kind of show, they told the producers they had to know exactly whats going on. There is a missing puzzle piece that they arent going to drop till the very end which will explain whats going on. It isn;t the kind of show where they can reveal something and not reveal everything. If you'v been paying attention, they have dropped tons of clues. But its very much a puzzle with the pieces being filled in slowly. We know somethings. There was some ritual involving children. The "boy in white" il call Jacob Jr escaped. Hes been bringing people here to help him and the other kids escape ( aline from episode one when the bus arrives, they say "maybe you brought them with your magic tower"referring to the antenna,but we had just seen the light oue the first time,. Remember they said they are recycling elements from Lost. The tower was how Jacob found and watched "candidates." Jacob Jr has been doing the same. What y'all are missing, its not bunch of unconnected plots, its that these are all manifestations of the same thing. The monters keep them in fear, they dont seek to just do a maximum kill number. There is something else, something evil in that dreamworld, that is trying to escape, Jacob Jr knows this but he cant explain his perspective.

Series. etc. Nobody wants to watch a show about monsters at night and end up having to watch 7 episodes of nothing to end up getting a clue. I'm done. I gave other ppl this series to watch and they liked season 1. And by season 2 they were done. Nothing happens. Just emotional dialogue. This ain't dawson's creek. Nobody wants to watch this type of show to be entertained by emotional conversations. 87% of the show is emotional dialogue that's pointless. The issue is this show tricked ppl into thinking it was a thriller and its writtin by ppl who think ppl who watch care about emotional dialogue. They seem like they're 1. Trying to fill in a whole season of filler episodes of nothing to end with a bang that will not be a bang because all anyone needs to do is watch 3 episodes from season 1. and skip every other season and watch the last episode. I will bet everything that after this episode 90% of the viewers wont watch more

And when they held Boyd down while the monsters ripped Chen apart live for fun. They wanted Boyd to enjoy the show. That shows what sadistic monsters they are. They don't kill for food or blood or even hone their hunting skills like predator but they're not feral creatures either. Absolutely no motivation but to toy with people.

The monster didn’t need to kill Boyd - his fear of not saving everyone due to his saviour complex is resulting in far more suffering for him and the others than simply mutilating him would. The town feeds off their fears.

I don't get it, sure it would be cool to get some enlightening and up paced episodes for the end, but for me nothing will change that the last few episodes have been absolute bangers already. The digging into how each character and their relationships get pushed and everything breaks down slowly, it's been so masterfully done, for me the last few episodes is honestly the best psychological horror I've ever seen in my life.

I would say Boyd is as he's always trying to spin the positive. At the town meeting in the diner everyone was panicking but Boyd only spoke of hope. Maybe that's why the monsters want to see him break.

It feeds on their fears. When Boyd came along, he gave everyone hope that they could band together & survive the monsters, which resulted in the discovery of the talismans. Now that they have physical safety, the town is feeding on the deeper fears of the mind. I think Ellis’ greatest fear is turning out like his Dad & the town is setting him up to have the same fate.

I believe they sacrificed the kids to get rid of the evil and ended up cursing themselves which turned them into immortal monsters. I also believe these monsters can walk around during the day simply because the one of Miranda’s painting had a man in yellow surrounded by red paint(blood) looking kind of evil but the painting didn’t have a dark background representing nighttime it actually had a white background representing daytime.

Here is my bold prediction for this season. Fatima will run just like Tillie told her to do. Eligin will “help” her by taking her to his new secret room in the root cellar. She will go in willing to hide but then find the door is locked and she can’t get out. They might hide dead Tillie with her or more likely Ellis will hide with her. Either way, her craving will increase rapidly, and with no way to escape she will eventually feast on who is locked in with her. We will get a full detail on how the monsters are made and what they are. But this is a mystery box so once we know what the monsters are, we will end the season on a reveal of the new monster(s) in the forest that will be a whole new level of wtf to be answered in future seasons. Side note: this show is a mystery box. It’s constructed like an onion with answers revealing new questions. I’ve noticed an uptick in people getting frustrated saying just explain everything. And then what? We have been getting bits of the puzzle steadily. If they just suddenly answer all your questions with Fromville is _____. Then why bother watching? The point is to having something to puzzle over until the very last scene of the series. If they say it’s a simulation or aliens, or magic creature in a magic land, then that answers every question now and in the future. What are the monsters: they are NPCs or shape changing aliens, or shape changing elves, etc. It’s like on Christmas Eve I want to know what are in my gifts, but if someone just said oh that gift is x and this gift is y and over there is z, well there went all the fun and excitement. If the creators stick to their word, and they get renewed then there will be 5 seasons. Meaning we are now past the mid point. They need to keep the mystery going but also start to answer questions such that the characters begin to move toward the final reveals and conclusion. I think season 3 has started the pivot from a town full of clueless victims, to people starting to put more of the puzzle together and increased sharing of information. In terms of a puzzle one group has the bottom left corner filled in, another group is starting to finish the outer edge. As mysteries get solved, where the show is heading will become increasingly locked in to a specific trajectory. Enjoy the ride. Enjoy working on a puzzle that still has two more seasons the finish.

I have a theory. Imagine if in the season finale, night time at the colony house where Fatima lives. If during the night she fully becomes a monster and starts massacring everyone she can in the house causing them to run outside and be killed by the other monsters and maybe that could be how the last time everyone died when Victor was a kid, someone becoming a monster could have ended up triggering the original massacre

When night falls, the monsters ignore her and head toward the people, killing many, as Jade has stolen the talismans after making a pact with the boy in white. By morning, after the massacre, Fatima escapes into the woods with Ellis chasing after her, followed by Boyd. The season closes with several dead, some in hiding, and others in the forest. The final scene reveals a flashback cliffhanger with Eloise, Victor, and Miranda in a wagon. Episodes 7-10: Fatima is pregnant and gives birth to a humanoid sack, which will turn into "Smiley," the creature Boyd killed with worm-filled blood. The numbers reveal musical notes, which Jade will play in the woods. It’s revealed that “angkhooey” means “remember.” Tabitha realises she's Victor's mother, while Jade recalls being Christopher, explaining the visions each has had. The final twist: Jim talks with Tabitha, who remembers her past life as Victor’s mother, and Jade realizes he was Christopher. Then a short-haired Julie, likely from the future, warns Jim to run. A bald man in a yellow suit appears, saying, "You shouldn’t have let your wife dig that hole,” and rips out Jim's throat as Julie screams. I imagine a scen where Fatima is running from the town at night and runs into the monsters. Shes scared and thinking it's the end and they just look at her and say "dont worry. I'm growing frustrated as well. I'm going to watch to the end, and I still enjoy the show, but I think we deserve more answers by the end of season 3. They've already introduced too many mysteries and plot lines to conclude then all by the end of this season, but SOME larger mysteries should be explained. I don't like the introduction of Acosta; I don't much like the character, and the show has too much going on to introduce new characters.

The town seems to keep its population constant with the number of deaths versus the number of new arrivals. Since Acosta was added to the town's population, Tillie had to die is my theory. Just going on a rant here, because I am honestly getting quite tired of all the complaints that the show is too slow and we don't get answers... It's a mystery series. If they give the answers now, there is no show left... They drop subtle hints for us to unravel and are building up to big things that will definitely be mindblowing. But this is how the genre works, people... Without all this buildup there won't be any rewards. And without all these dialogue scenes, we won't understand the development of the characters. Imagine if they changed the optimistic Fatima from season 1 to the Fatima we know now within a few episodes. It would be so random (like how they changed Daenarys to the mad queen in the blink of an eye in GoT). The fact that we witnessed Fatima transforming slowly, step by step, makes it so much more believable and it's what makes the payoff now so great. From is one of the few series at the moment that does character development so well! These slower episodes are what make the crazy episodes so much more intense to watch. I get that it can be frustrating to not get answers to all these questions yet, but that is what it is all about. The whole point is to try and put the pieces together while this all unfolds. If this is not for you, then I'd highly recommend to stop watching and resume once the series is completely finished, so you can binge it all.

i was just watching and looking at time - is that all they showing us? elgin going to that polaroid trap door place is interesting turn of events, they could just show us more of that and it will be alright, i am just hoping it's not some sort of sacrifice he has to do in order to save everyone, like living there for certain time without talisman or smth similar people not knowing their surroundings still amazes me (julie & randall just now finding ruins), they live like barn animals - night at home, day on a field on a grass, and repeat, no one is going to search forest

After seeing last night's episode, I'm pretty sure they were holding back. Each one of the next 3 episodes are probably going to be intense, and there will be some heavy reveals. Episode 7 was the calm before the storm, kind of. The ending of the episode is bringing a storm either way it goes.

For all of you who feel you are owed something just stop watching. You don’t have the intellect to follow along with a mystery box show. Face it it’s just not your jam. I love this show and know it will be over in another season. Many of you have no idea about how the show came about, what it took for Harold Perrineau to agree to take part. You may need your do research yourself understand what went on to create those show. For the majority of folks who are intellectually engaged keep calm and carry on the payoff will be great next season.

OK “FROM” WRITERS!!!! Give us, the audience, something! Show a sign of hope or an episode where the people or at the most Boyd figures something out that can be helpful. Each and every episode is like a big question mark now. Different people with no solutions….just questions and question. Fatima is obviously throwed off so some real talk and action can happen to her like being held the jail house before she causes more damage to herself and others. Just give us something!! Man! Let another person or people make it out or something. All of these eventful, non-monstor, non-action episodes is getting a little bit out of hand. Sheesh. Just a bunch of dialogue and unnecessary scenes in my opinion. Like, the boy who keep seeing this strange lady-ghost and who found the door behind the door……Ok! wth…..what’s that all about??? How is his sightings beneficial to the town as a whole. Started off as a damn good show, but now it seems to be reaching for no reason. Just give us something to see! IJS.

YOU ALL MISSED THIS!!!Why did everyone forget that randell wasnt killed by the monsters bc he was attacked by the cicadas first. The cicadas went back into him. Also a big part people missed is that there was no one but marshal who could hwve throw boyd the rope down when he was locked in the well. Doesnt that me it was a trick because he obviously threw rope down said u help me ill help u. Then boyd brought the worms into town ttansfering them to the monster and worms turned to cicadas. Also he gave blood to his son and thats why fatima is sick.

In the ambulance you could see for a brief moment te word Dr.Mabuse. Dr. Mabuse is a character in a German silent movie from 1922. Griffin the producer has studied him. Everybody who has gone to film School should know the German hollywood director Fritz Lang. Another character in a Fritz Lang movie is a a Japanese character " The priestess in the holy forest" ....Dr. Mabuse is an evil magician a player who plays with cards and he plays roulette....he plays with the lives of the people and he plays with Dead. Detective Wenke is a police officer like boyd trying to get Dr. mabuse. Ankuyha is the gream eaper picture on tarot cards. Crows are also a sign of death. Has anyone noticed pother signs and cliches? Spiders are usually in connection to witches. I am not sure if this witch is necessarily evil

Dude. Here in America, when your bottle says you have three refills remaining it doesn’t mean you got 3 bottles. It means you can pick up ONE bottle a month for the next three months. Then you have to go back to the doc. So it’s highly unlikely he has the refills as there would have no way to GET the refills filled if you still had pills from your last bottle

I couldn’t agree more…too much meat on the bone😂. 3 episodes left, let’s start resolving some of these arcs before we start more. Love the show but nothing seems close to getting resolved. I’ve been speculating that Fatima is the dead woman Elgin keeps seeing. I’m more sure now than ever. Randall & Julie will become romantically involved which will cause problems. I do feel that this week the Puppet will talk & set up next couple episodes for the season finale. I have a crazy feeling that Jim will die in the season finale

In this seventh episode, when Jade says there's no free will and that everyone is predestined to a fate, I finally noticed the obvious. This is a high-definition video game where some characters might actually be humans playing, while others are simply part of the game. From the beginning, From has shown that children are crucial to the plot. Victor, Ethan, the Boy in White, and the Anghkui children all play key roles. The similarities to a video game are many: you can’t leave the town, and there's no logical explanation for where the electricity, running water, food, and animals for slaughter come from. The trees shift locations, there are spots for teleportation, and when someone finds a "bonus," the storyline changes, like Boyd’s talismans. New game areas are discovered, characters seem to be repeating their routines constantly, and even the monsters follow specific routines. When certain characters die, others appear to take their place. There are hidden locations that can only be found by moving furniture or opening secret passageways.

Why dont no one notices the more Jade and Miranda come together and gather clues and answers. The worst the town gets. Kind of like a game its a certain time limit. Victor map shows its alot bigger environment and more safe zone areas to hide in than just the town. They gotten alot further then everyone else, even the man locked up in the tower with Boyd clearly stated there worser entities and creatures than the monsters. And you notice the monsters don't go in the part with the stones and statues as well as by the river and lighthouse. The more they uncover, there worst the map gets,which in a weird way is good .

You have to remember, when you kill a fellow town member, it’s a BIG DEAL. Boyd might be on Fatima’s side for obvious reasons, and I know that new Cop lady, got a pretty good pass. But Fatima is starting to go crazy so the town might be not as accepting because she’s unpredictable. I think the next episode will be good

I think Tilly is a big bad of the show. She’s the main monster, entity or whatever you want to call it and she’s hiding in plain sight. She was way too into the tragedies going on with some people to just be an old lady dying from cancer. And when she approached Elgin, he’d always see the ghost lady and when she approached Fatima all of a sudden something bad or weird af would happen to Fatima. She was at the green house at the right moment in order for Fatima to kill her and told her to run because she wants Fatima to be in isolation in order to turn into a monster completely.

Was wondering if I was alone re: 307, cuz it straightaway felt like the worst episode of the series. Already 2.1k votes on IMDb (From averages about 3k votes per ep) and by nearly a whole point, it indeed is the worst received episode of the series at 5.4 out of 10 (IMDb’s method of “averaging”). On the other hand, 301 and 304 are by far the best reviewed of the series. Let’s hope they knock it out of the park here in the final three, and give us some horror and intrigue and actual answers. Be wary of spoilers, they appear to be out.

This dude on a group I was in on Facebook said last week everything that was going to happen on this episode. He was 100% accurate so I guess he must of got ahold of a script or a bootleg copy. I had to leave the group because I hated that I wasn’t surprised by anything.
